Chapter Five I: The Good 'Not So Very Good' Day and the Bubblehead.
I'm so excited, I couldn't stop meowing all day. Don't ask me, I'm still trying to figure it out why. I behaved like the good feline that I was, and I didn't intentionally cough up hairballs around the apartment, note the word intentionally. (I always do that to spite them for leaving me alone by myself all the time).
I mean, I'm a majestic feline. I'm supposed to be worshipped and adored..
I even allowed the nosy and annoying neighbour, Mrs Lockworth, to pick me up without clawing out her overly 'eyeshadowed' eyes. That was a first. I'm very sure my Roxy was surprised, with the wary looks she was shooting at me.
Wait, or was it when I allowed her to give me a thorough bath at daybreak? I don't really remember, it's a bit hazy...
Don't blame me, I'm perfect in my own way, and I don't need to be dry-cleaned like an accessory, thank you very much...
I guess this has to do with the recent cheery personality of my baby, Endra. She seemed to be getting brighter and sunnier than the sun since she got back from what do they call it, a 'date', ridiculous name, I might add.. Anyway, I'm just so glad she's finally gotten over whatever was getting a rat up her behind...
Ah! And yes. I guess it is solely because the apartment has finally gotten rid of the garlic and ginger stench it acquired from a certain somebody's bad choices in partners..
It gave me so much joy the other day to witness the banging of the door on his face by my baby girl for the umpteenth time, these past few days. It looks like they're never getting back together again and, this is the best news ever. No jokes.
Anyway, I'm not about to jinx it, so zip it..

It had being eight days already and no calls, messages or emails from David. Perhaps he'd decided I wasn't worth his time and he forgot about me. I couldn't have being more happier.
I let a broad smile spread across my face and take a deep cleansing breathe while humming to the rhythms of Happy by Pharrell as I sauntering into the 27th floor on Arden and Co. i.e the PDA.
Haha! PDA!
I just love that name. Whoever came up with it is a genius. He or she needs a peck on the cheek...
"Someone's in too much of a good mood today", Aarti commented and eyed me with scorn. I ignored her and continued on to my box.
Apparently, she didn't get over it. Ever since her outburst at the cafeteria a week ago, Aarti had made it her sole responsibility to goad and bother me every opportunity she gets. As if it's my fault her love advances weren't reciprocated. Just the other day, she had a basket of tulips delivered to Zach's office, anonymously.
A basket of frigging flowers?! Who does that?!
Apparently, she does, that part of my mind told me.
Poor Zachary..
He was all over me that day, thinking I was the anonymous donor who'd sent the flowers to him. I couldn't say I didn't encourage him though, I did. Not that I told him I was the anonymous donor, No. Just to annoy the hell out of Aarti and show her who's really boss. I let the charade play on a little too longer than necessary then broke the bad news to him. He didn't seem too angry about it but I ended up making it up to him by agreeing to go on a date with him. The look on Aarti's face when Gracie blatantly announced it on the floor will forever be engraved in my memory.
