Qing's POV

Opening my eyes, I could see nothing. Normally, I could see things even though my surrounding was pitch black. Where was I? I walked around blindly. The whole place seemed empty and seemed boundless. There was nothing but silence. The silence was eerily unnatural, like a gaping void. But I kept going, hoping I would see a glimmer of light by the end of this nothingness.

All of a sudden, I heard someone, a man, humming. Why was it sound so familiar? The humming sound was more beautiful than the softest of singers, yet full of misery. I followed the sound until the darkness wasn't so blinded anymore and I could see myself. On top of that, I faintly smelled the most luscious fragrance I've ever smelled. The mixed of summer rain and lavender. From afar I could see someone, he was still humming a heartbreakingly sad melody. I took another big steps, closing the distance between us. I couldn't see his face as he was back-facing me.

"Who are you?" I asked him when he was only two steps away. He stopped humming abruptly and turned to face me.

Now I could see him clearly, no wonder it felt so familiar...

His waist-long hair was liquid silver against a face so pale as to be striking.

I knew him,

Yet he looked different...

His icy blue eyes were shining with the tears that had yet to fall.

I loved him dearly,

Yet I couldn't utter a word beside,

"Dayu?"

When I called his name, he smiled broadly, the pearl-shaped tears trailing down his crying mole to his cheeks from his wide brilliant eyes. His smile was so genuine that I felt the warmth rushed through me. Then he whispered to me,

"Mate..."

"My mate... You finally found me..."

"Now come and let me out..."

His voice was so quiet, I had to lean closer. He said something else but I missed it as the darkness devoured me once more.

Opening my eyes, I saw a lamp hanging on the light blue ceiling. Then I felt warm breath tickling my neck. I looked to the side and I never been this happy in my life. Dayu still had his head nestled in the crook of my neck. His arm draped across my waist and my arm was still wrapping him tightly. I realized our position was still the same as we drifted off to sleep last night. I actually felt uncomfortable as I slept with my jeans and shirt on. But it didn't matter as long as I could sleep with my mate.

I nuzzled my cheek gently against his silky soft hair. I eased a satisfied sigh through a lazy smile. My wolf was wagging his tail, feeling contented with our mate in my embrace. Here was where we belong.

I laid still on the bed, watching him breath and listening to the little sounds he made while my thought went back to the dream. It felt too real to be a dream. And the man, he was unmistakably Dayu. But why silver hair and blue eyes. And he knew I was his mate. There must be something behind this dream.

Dayu stirred up a little in his sleep and mumbled incoherently. He wiggled as if he was trying to get comfy. He then rubbed his face against my chest and let out a content sigh. My baby was too cute! But because of that, a big problem arose. As he was wiggling on me, his morning wood rubbing against my thigh. It was getting painful inside my jeans. I could feel Ajax clawing his way out. He wanted to rub our scent all over our mate and mark him, mixing our scent together so everybody knew he was ours. I won't let the fucking horny wolf out! Dayu was still a virgin, I won't take him like this. I had plan already. I would woo him first and let him feel my love for him. I wanted to have a real relationship, a mutual love, not only because Dayu was our mate. But innocent kisses won't harm nobody.

I kissed the top of his head several times, inhaling his sweet and delicious scent. Then I tilted my head down to kiss his forehead and the skin between his eyebrows. Not forgetting his eyes, I gave them butterfly kisses and felt his thick eyelashes tickling my lips. Dayu began to stir out of his sleep from all the kisses,

"Qing?" Oh God, how I fucking love how he called my name with his raspy sleepy voice. My already hard dick twitched innocently at that.

"Good morning baby." This time I kissed his cute button nose.

He giggled loudly as I giving him kisses. "It tickles."

"How was your sleep? Did you have another nightmare?" I asked him with my equally raspy voice.

"Thanks to you, I had the best sleep last night! I didn't even dream at all."

"I'm happy I can help you." I paused a little and continued, "About the man in your dream. You said he had a blue eyes and a long silver hair, right?"

"Yes, why?"

"Was his hair a waist-long?"

"Yeah, but I don't think I told you that last night. How do you know?"

"I saw him in my dream." Dayu stiffened. "And I saw his face." Dayu was now sitting up and eyed me closely but kept his silent.

"The man was you, Dayu. He looked different with his bright blue eyes, silver hair and pale skin. But he was you. He even had the same mole under his left eyes, just like you." I then explained to Dayu my dream as detail as I could without missing anything.

"H-How?" This was the first time I heard Dayu stuttered.

"I don't know, baby." We fell into silence as we wrecked our brain. Then I had an idea.

"Hey, you said your grandma used to tell you about mythical creature, right? Maybe we can ask her about this dream we had."

"I'm not sure, but we can try. I'll give my grandma a call, maybe she can even come over." Dayu ran over to his desk and took his phone. He rushed back to the bed and cuddled again beside me as he made the call. I couldn't believe we just met last evening. We felt really comfortable with each other as if we've known each other for our lives.

"Hey grandma, it's me Dayu!" He sounded really happy to talk to her. "I have something to discuss with you, can you please come over? I can't really explain it to you only through a call." I could hear an excited woman's voice on the other side.

I watched intently as Dayu bit his bottom lip as if he was thinking hard what to tell her. "umm, basically... mymatefoundme and I had the s-" He stopped talking abruptly. "What? Grandma, that's not the point! Look, I've been having a same nightmare every night about a silver hair man asking me to let him out." Then a long silent at Dayu's part. Eventually he said,

"A-ha, okay okay. See you tomorrow. Love you too." He hung up and faced me, looking at me seriously.

"That was weird. Somehow she wasn't that surprised to hear my mate found me. She wants to meet you. And also about the dream, she said we'll talk tomorrow." I had my guesses about his grandmother, but I won't say anything for now. "She said she would come over tomorrow, but to my apartment in San Diego. Tomorrow is Sunday. Are you busy tomorrow? Is it okay for you to come with me?"

"I always have time for you, baby. And also, now that I found you, I won't go anywhere. My wolf and I can't be away for a long time from our mate. But before I explain anything, are you hungry?" As in cue my stomach grumbled, which made Dayu laughed out loud. "I'm also really hungry actually. Let's get washed up and get a breakfast." He said.

"How about a slice of warm pie and a cup of warm cocoa?" His stomach also grumbled loudly at that and he giggled shyly.

"Pie it is." I pecked the corner of his mouth gently before we got ready for our first date.
