Chapter 16 : Our Peanut

Qing's POV

"And Dayu's body, as a siren, supports its main purpose to be able to reproduce." Dad and Papa stumbled back in shock but I took a step forward.

"He has always have the womb inside him, which wasn't active until he mated."

"You mean, Dayu can get pregnant?"

"He is pregnant. Check it for yourself." Wynter was gone after he said his piece, Dayu came back forward. I quickly ran over, pulled his shirt up and noticed the tiny bump on his normally flat stomach. How could I didn't notice that before!

I pushed my ear on his tummy. I heard nothing. I tried once more, this time I closed my eyes and focus on his tummy. Faintly I heard a soft but fast beat of a heart. I felt my eyes water. I got my male mate pregnant. My Dayu was pregnant! This was crazy and I loved it!

I was going to be a father. Dayu and I will have our own pup. I listened our pup's heartbeat a little bit longer before I pressed my lips on Dayu's bump. I pulled myself up and gave Dayu a long kiss.

"We're going to be fathers! Our own child, Dayu! Our pup!" My voice was shaking with excitement. Dayu's eyes were misty as he gave me the softest smile. I was about to kiss Dayu again when suddenly I was pushed to the side.

"Move pumpkin!" Papa suddenly pushed me away from Dayu. He lifted up Dayu's shirt and rested his ear on Dayu's bump. The next thing I knew, he laid unconscious on the floor.

"Quinn!" Dad ran forward to help Papa. I also crounched down to help moving Papa to the couch in the living room. Dad patted Papa's cheeks softly. When he finally woke up, he blinked his eyes and grinned from ear to ear.

"I'm going to be a grandfather!" He turned to face Dad and shaking his shoulder frantically, "We're going to have a grandpup! Or maybe grandpups! Oh my god!" He prolong the o with a high pitch voice. He was histerical.

On the other hand, Dayu was smiling but not as excited as the rest of us.

>What's wrong baby? You aren't happy we're going to be dads?<

>Of course I'm happy. I love children, and this child is ours. There's nothing in this world can make me happier.< He tiptoed and kissed me on the lips softly.

>It's just too overwhelming for my poor brain. Like, I know I'm a siren but I'm still a man, how could I bear children. And we're still young, will I be a good father? I know nothing about babies.<

Dayu was freaking out right now. >I know you will be a great father, we'll be a great fathers for our child. We'll work together as a team. Our family also will be glad to help us.<

>And you can bear our child doesn't mean your less manly, Dayu. And there's so many parents that would love to have children of their own but couldn't.< I put my hand on his bump. >This is our miracle.<

Dayu put his hands on my hand over his bump and said, >Yeah, our little miracle. Ugh I'm going to be fat.<

>No, you're going to be more gorgeous.< My lips caught Dayu's and we kissed a little more until I heard Papa cleared his throat.

"Finished kissing? We have a lot to do until the party, so chop chop guys!"

"What party?"

"You didn't hear me talking at all, did you?" I gave him my innocent smile.

"We have to celebrate this good news! Let's have party in the pack house tonight."

"That's actually a good idea. I'm going to officially introduced Dayu as the second Alpha to the pack members." The pack members would warming up with Dayu before we took over Dad and Papa's position and they have to respect Dayu as they respected their Alpha.
