Chapter 21 : The Attack

Dayu's POV

He came closer to me until his icy breath brushed my ears and whispered,"Forever."

His lips brushed against my ears, kissing it softly. One light kiss from him made me sick from the ends of my hair to the nails on my toes. It felt so wrong.

I wanted to move, but I was under his spell. I could break the spell, but it would make me open my card. For now I should just play along.

"What did your guys injected me with?" I asked changing the subject, desperately wanted him to move away from me.

"That's the potion, my Love. You can't mind link your so called mate, can you? Your bond is not completely broken yet, but we almost there. Oh and I even told them to just inject it into you, so you didn't have to taste it. Aren't you happy?" What the fuck? How could a simple potion break a mate bond? Unless, it wasn't as simple as I thought. But why couldn't I approach Wynter?

His icy cold hands were now holding both side of my hips. He nuzzled his nose into my neck, inhaling my scent deeply. "You still smell of that mutt. I'll change that soon." He licked my neck with the tip of his tongue, made my skin crawl.

"A mate bond can't be broken that easy!" I was still bonded with Qing, I could feel it!

"Oh it wasn't easy let me tell you. It took me years perfecting this potion." My mind turned blank. Why years? He told me he just found me..., right?

He kept kissing my neck while he asked me, "Don't you want to ask me why years?"

"Stop kissing me and answer my fucking question!" He was getting on my nerves.

Without saying anything he suddenly pressed his hands on my bump really hard. It pressured my stomach so hard until I couldn't breath. No, peanut! "Stop, please stop it..." I begged him. Instead of stopping, I could feel his nails started digging into my bump.

"Are you going to talk like that again to me?"

"No no! Just please, stop...." I whispered the last words as my voice stuck in my throat. I started breathing normaly as soon as I felt the preassure was gone.

"Don't be like that my Love, I don't want to hurt you and our baby." He said as he rubbed my bump. Fuck him! Peanut was Qing's and mine, not his!

"You should be thanking me for driving away all the vampires from you, you know. They all want to kill you because you are too powerful. But together we'll be great. We'll combine our power and be the god, we could rule the world once again like we used to. What do you think my Love?" I ignored him and asked another question.

"If you already know me for so long, why now?" Why kidnapping me now?

"Ambrose's soul won't be reincarnated before your power got unsealed. That's why I had to leave you to that mutt first." Wait! Ambroses' soul? He knew I wasn't her!

He must saw how shock I was and smirked, "My love, you are Ambrose. Like I said before, you just don't remember yet." All of a sudden he stood up straight and scooped me up from the bed into his arms. "Come on! We shouldn't waste anymore time. All is prepared for you, my Love."

He carried me, bridal style, out of the room. Cold damp air wrapped around me like a heavy coat as he stepped outside to the hallway. Spooky didn't quite cover it and eerie was an understatement. The walls were made from stones, ancient grey stones.
