Dayu's POV

When we got back in the pack house, Qing and I finally ate some lunch. Kenneth and Quinton weren't in sight, they must be busy preparing the party. We didn't eat the lasagna though as it made my stomach turn. I just wanted something fresh, so Qing made me some light sandwich and salad.

After lunch he urged me to take a nap. He said I already too worked up today and had to lay down in bed. Qing sat beside me on the bed with laptop on his lap, doing some financial pack things.

Now that I wasn't doing anything, all of the pregnancy things, fears and worries started flooding in. In several months from now I would be a father. Was I ready for this? Would I be a good father for my child?

Qing suddenly stopped typing and put his laptop aside. He laid down beside me and brushed my hair gently.

"You WILL be a good father, Dayu. This worry shows just how much you already love your baby, and how you already want so deeply for our baby to have everything in life. I know we don't know anything about baby, but we will learn about it as we go. We will never be the perfect dads, but we will be the best dads possible for our peanut." He kissed my forehead softly and continued reassuring me that everything was going to be alright.

"Will peanut shift into a pup right away after birth?" I wondered what fur color our pup would have. Will peanut also have my ability as siren?

"No, children will be able to shift into their pup form when they hit five, well three or four years old for Alpha's child. Our peanut will be the cutest pup in this world. Oh I haven't told you this, normally the Alpha's first born is always a boy. So, our peanut will most likely be a boy."

"Then, he'll be handsome and charismatic like you."

"But I hope he has your eyes, your nose and your personality." Qing said as he touched my eyes and my nose, then he kissing me slowly and gently.

"Our peanut will be perfect." I yawned loudly, feeling really tired all of a sudden. My eyes felt really heavy. I'll just rest my eyes for a second.

I opened my eyes and my surrounding was really dark. Looking left and right, I knew I was still in our room. But why was it so dark? Why didn't Qing wake me up? I stood up from the bed and about to went outside when I saw a pair of red eyes staring directly at me from the corner of the room in the shadow.

"My beloved." His whisper echoed throughout the room.

I wanted to ask who he was, but my voice stuck on my throat.

"You are mine..."

He moved closer to me at every word, moving out from the shadow. His pale skin had taken on suck an ashen hue, he was greyish under the moonlights. His red eyes were fixed on me, and I could see a pair of fangs sticking out from his mouth.

"My beloved..."

His whisper was getting louder, but he was suddenly disappeared. I breathed on and out but air wouldn't enter my lungs. Starved for air, my heart raced at tremendous speeds.

All of a sudden I felt his cold breath brushing my ears from behind and his cold hands rested on my hips.

"My baby..."

"NO!" I was finally be able to move my limbs when I heard Qing's voice beside me,

"Dayu! Wake up baby, ssshh... It's just a dream." He kept saying that as he rubbing my back. I opened my eyes and took in every ray of light. The sun shone directly to my eyes as I sat up straight on the bed. My breath got steady but I was drenched in cold sweat.
