Christina went to the boy's room to make sure they were dressed and to make sure Thomas' tie was tied correctly.
"Okay, Emerald when the music starts that is when you walk in." Christina says when she comes back, I nod. Then the bridesmaids and groomsmen walk inside. Four and I lock arms, he will be walking me down the aisle.
"I hate these stupid shoes" I say then take off the heels and put on my convers. Four smiles and rolls his eyes.
"Are you ready?" he asks. I take a deep breath, close my eyes, and nod. The music starts I open my eyes and take another deep breath. Four and I walk through the door.

Everyone has their eyes on me, but I have mine on Thomas. Tris is my maid of honor, then it is Kayla, Claire, Marlene, Shana, and then Christina. Four is the best man, then it is Zeke, Will, and then Tyler. I see that my mom and Matthew are there, I don't see Thomas' father. It feels like it is taking forever to walk down the aisle, but I finally stand in front of Thomas, Four takes his spot behind Thomas, and Thomas and I hold each other's hands, looking into each other's eyes.
"We are gathered here today for the marriage of Emerald Stone and Thomas James." Max says.
"Emerald, the way I feel about you I have never felt about anyone. When I'm with you I feel like I have had too much amity bread. I don't know how I lived all those years without you, but I know I can't live another second without you. I will always love my precious gem stone." He says, he sounds choked up, I'm about to cry. Why must this be so emotional?
"Thomas, a year ago today was the first time I said 'I love you' out loud. I said that before I died, I don't know why I had not said it before, I truly love you. You make my heart beat, you are the reason I came back a year ago. Over a year ago you promised you would never let me be alone, I didn't think someone could keep that promise, but you did. I love you, I will say it over and over, I will shout it from the roof tops, I love you. I'm in love, I love you, Thomas. "I say.
"Do you Thomas James take Emerald Stone to be your wife?" Max asks Thomas.
"I do" Thomas says.
"Emerald do you take Thomas to be your husband?" Max asks me.
"I do, Thomas, I do." I say.
"With the power in me Thomas you may now kiss your bride." Max says, Thomas grabs me by the waist and kisses me. We are interrupted when someone burst through the door, I knew something bad was going to happen, the person that burst through the door is Joey.
"Emerald don't marry him" Joey says.
"Joey, you need to leave" I say. Joey pulls out a gun, Thomas stands in front of me, Four is on my right, Eric is on my left, then Joey aims the gun at Thomas.
"Emerald don't make me kill him" he says.
"Joey why are you doing this?" I ask.
"I'm in love with you" he says.
"I'm in love to, but with Thomas not you, besides we are in different factions we can't be together if I even wanted to be with you." I say.
"We could be factionless together, you can drop out of dauntless and I could drop out of erudite." He says.
"No" I say.
"Emerald, you come with me right now" he says.
"I'm not going with you" I say.
"I will kill him" he says. Then cocks the gun. In the corner of my eye I see Eric has a gun in his waist band. Eric moves to grab his gun.
"You move he dies" Joey says.
"Joey-" I start.
"Shut up, if you say one more thing I will put a bullet in his brain, if he has one" Joey cuts me off. I slowly move to grab Eric's gun, I rap my hand around it, Eric looks at me, I smile slightly, then I pull out the gun and aim at Joey.
"Joey put the gun down now" I say.
"No" he says.
"Joey I'm giving you one more chance put the gun down now" I say.
"This is for your own good" he says then pulls the trigger, I pull mine. Everything moves in slow motion, my bullet hit Joey in the shoulder, I turn towards Thomas, Matthew jumps in front of Thomas just in time, Matthew takes the bullet in the stomach.
"Daddy" I scream and kneel by him.
"It's been a long time since you have called me that" he says weakly but with a smile on his face. Thomas and I start to apply presser to the wound.
"Daddy hold on" I say.
"No matter what happens don't let me stop your wedding" he says. Nurses and doctors bring my father to the infirmary. We all stand in the waiting room.
"Emerald and Thomas don't touch anything" Christina says. Thomas and I look down at our hands, they are covered in blood, my father's blood. Christina cleans off the blood.
"Emerald," the doctor says, "Matthew will be fine. He said to go back to the wedding"
"Can I see him?" I ask.
"Not at this time, you may see him later" the doctor says then turns around.
"Let's get this show back on the road" someone says.
"He is okay" Thomas says.
"Okay, come on lets go" I say. He is write the doctor said he was fine.

"For the first time Mr. and Mrs. James" Max says as Thomas and I walk into the transformed cafeteria. Slow music starts, Thomas holds me by the waist and I put my hands on his shoulders.
"You're still a horrible dancer" Thomas says in my ear.
"I know" I say. We dance for a long time. We set down to eat as the slide show starts. I picture of Thomas and I appears on the screen, then one of us with our feet over the chasm. Then the video of Thomas being James bond. Then a video from last night of me trying to dance. Then a video of Thomas going down a hill in a toy car.
"I said not to do anything stupid" Christina says. More pictures and videos of us are played.

After we eat everyone gets on the dance floor and dance. Thomas holds my waist my hands are on his shoulders, then something pokes my legs, I look down and see Brantley.
"May I have this dance" Brantley asks me.
"Yes" I say. I pick him up and spin with him in my arms. We twirl around, then I back into someone, Thomas, he was dancing with a little girl. I hold Brantley on my hip and Thomas holds the girl in his arms then Christina takes a picture of us. This is what I want in my future, Thomas, and kids. We set the kids down and Thomas grabs my hand. He swings me around, then twirls me, I get a little dizzy.
"Having fun?" he asks.
"Yes" I say. He twirls me to him, my back is to him and he has his arms around me, he kisses my check then spins me away.

Thomas stands behind me, I hold the knife, he has his hands on mine, we cut the cake. he puts a piece of cake in my mouth, he get some frosting on my lip, he wipes it off, I then hold a piece out for him, after I put it in his mouth I then smashes the rest of the cake that was on the plate on his face. His jaw drops.
"No you just didn't" he says. I take off running, when he catches me he holds me in his arms, he wipes some of the cake onto his finger, he touches my nose, then says, "Boop". I kiss his cheek getting cake on my lips, he kisses me.

Thomas cleaned his face and everyone danced and had good time, now the only people that are still here is Tris, Four, Thomas, and myself.
"May I have this dance" Four asks me.
"Yes" I say.
"I love you sis" he says.
"I love you too" I say.

Thomas and I walk to the infirmary to see how my dad is doing. When we get there my mom is holding his hand. Thomas and I walk into the room.
"Daddy, how are you feeling" I ask.
"I'm fine" he says still weak.
"Thank you" Thomas says to him. My father slightly smiles.
"Emerald I love you" he says.
"I love you to daddy." I say. It's getting late, I yawn.
"Thomas, take Emerald back to your place" my father says.
"Yes sir" Thomas says.
"Bye daddy see you tomorrow" I say and Thomas and I walk out.

When we walk back into the apartment, I change into a tee shirt and sweatpants. Thomas and I lay on the bed, he is on his side facing me, I lay on my back looking up at the ceiling.
"Thomas," I say turning to look at him, "I want to start a family."
"Are you sure you are ready?" he asks. I straddle him and kiss him.
"Yes" I say.
"We will stop when you say you want to" he says, I nod. He pulls me close to him and starts to kiss me.

I wake up tangled in sheets and my head on Thomas' chest, he is twirling his fingers in my hair. We get dressed and walk to the infirmary before going to work.
"We are here to see Matthew Stone" I say to the lady at the front desk.
"Matthew Stone," the doctor says before she lady can say anything, "he went home last night."
"Oh, okay" I say. Then Thomas and I walk to work.
