The good is that life moves on
The bad is that time goes onIf I could truly explain the universe
Would you still look upon it with wonder? If the silence could be made into noise
Would sorrow be expressed as a calm night?Im quite different now
You're no longer the sameEach chord rips a hole
The silence between beckons youThe tears don't dry
The fears don't dieAmong the morning mist
Or under a moonlit nightDo we feel the same?
We agree upon definitions of emotions
But can't describe what we feelOr don't feel
Am I feeling too much?
Or do I not feel at all?Keeping it together is a passive act
I can't allow myself to break downI've become obsessed with being okay
Being okay with being a facadeI'm not the same
How are we different? We sing the same songs
To a beat we can't followWould you rather bathe in my light
Or drown in their darkness?Stars pass by
Dotting the night skyThe flowers burn at Summers end
The sky cries in the middle of JulyYou look up
In awe and aspirationNot giving a second thought
No turning back
Forward MarchInto Spring
Fading in the airPhasing behind the Sun
Back to better timesWhen I still could share
And offered a hand to holdMarch forward
Toward the pastHistory repeats
And so do we
