The good is that life moves on
The bad is that time goes on
If I could truly explain the universe
Would you still look upon it with wonder?
If the silence could be made into noise
Would sorrow be expressed as a calm night?
Im quite different now
You're no longer the same
Each chord rips a hole
The silence between beckons you
The tears don't dry
The fears don't die
Among the morning mist
Or under a moonlit night
Do we feel the same?
We agree upon definitions of emotions
But can't describe what we feel
Or don't feel
Am I feeling too much?
Or do I not feel at all?
Keeping it together is a passive act
I can't allow myself to break down
I've become obsessed with being okay
Being okay with being a facade
I'm not the same
How are we different?
We sing the same songs
To a beat we can't follow
Would you rather bathe in my light
Or drown in their darkness?
Stars pass by
Dotting the night sky
The flowers burn at Summers end
The sky cries in the middle of July
You look up
In awe and aspiration
Not giving a second thought
No turning back
Forward March
Into Spring
Fading in the air
Phasing behind the Sun
Back to better times
When I still could share
And offered a hand to hold
March forward
Toward the past
History repeats
And so do we
