What awaits tonight
What awaits after sleep takes hold of me
Scared to discover
Hidden truths I refuse to
I refuse to diffuse how I feel
But I can't speak it aloud
I stained my hands in sin before
I swore off it no more
Try to be good try to be wholesome
Devil inside maybe my whole sum
Swallow my pride shine bright like a whole sunMove on
You're shallow
Pathetic
Deep like an ocean
Storm like a coast in tropical regions
Might erupt and disrupt
All of the peace I just want a piece
Throw up two pronged peace
Picking a piece plucked and deceased
Deep down decrease deep dark deep treats
Secrets sink shipwreck slip still stopping
Good night good bye good eventide
Moon rise sun fall eventide ocean tide
Back and forth
Bring the waves crash them down
Draw the tide
Pull back you tried
I'm still here
The place you confide
A cove that hides during eventide
Hidden with the evening tide
Release an even tie, dive below
To a cove that's home
A shipwrecked sailor's home
Lost and mourning his own
At eventide the lost gather
To hide within those they confide
Never again to return alive
