I am but a raindrop
I race behind billions no different
And billions the same will follow me
Before, we crowded in a cloud
Tangled together seeking freedom
We fell
Uniquely different yet to the outsider just more of the same
                              We fall for individualism
Some fall for an unknown purpose
Reach we may for the skies above
All drops of rain share the same fate
To converge again
Like when the Heavens we reigned
To join at the Earth
To fill the lakes and run the rivers
Feeding the trees and tending the flowers
                              We fall for differing reasons
But the fate, always the same
However,
Is it no less romantic
That from the clouds I fell
For however brief the moments
My reasoning, to provide life
Gazing upon the flower that is you
Just moments before you bloom
