I need you to believe
Millions of miles apart
Searching for your hope
A single spark
What are you trying to find out?
Is the fire still there?
Have the embers gone out forever?
I don't believe they have
I need you to believe
That I'll grasp the stars
Not for me but for you
That was my goal from the start
I was lost
Maybe I wander still
Years in the making to be found
I need you to believe
That the fires scorch hot
No rough waters
No crumbling support
A temple built on the ruins
A cataclysmic catacomb beneath
The winds will carry me onward
The waves will wash me to new shores
I just hope you got the bottle I sent at sea
I hope when I reach the beach
You'll be there waiting for me
