Fires dousing deeper within
Summer melts the scourge upon our souls
The first chapter laid to rest
Never again I'll let it open
I'm unsure and not apologizing
The river flows through the ocean
Parting ways to the core of our situation
At last I can sleep
At last I can rest
You once read my deepest secrets
My hidden feelings
You called me crazy, at least you cried out
Ignoring the flames they're dead now
Untended now
The bones wash ashore on the beaches
Salt dried and sun fried
Everything once ablaze falls into a thick haze
Never to resurface
As life moves on
And so do I
I regret I forget your face and joy
You haven't moved on
Yet I only hear your whines
It's another late night
Another late lit night
Dreaming of a more lit life
Awake and asleep
We never dreamt so deep
So now sleep and dream to a new a beat
And love,
Move on
