As I was sorting out my outfit for the party, Jenna came in "Hey sis, how's it going?"
"The party, you mean?" I said, looking up from my two dresses. In front of me was a black and red lace sleeveless, knee length dress and a silver sleeveless, knee length dress which had a sequined silver bodice- I found it hard to choose between the duo.
"Well, not really because I am also a part of the 'surprise for Kylie planners'." Jenna said with a laugh. "I meant, how are things going with Adam?" and at that she sent me a wink.
I blushed. "Things are going good. I told him about what happened with Kayla."
Jenna came over and sat on my bed. "Oh, and what did he say?"
"He was pretty cool at the whole thing, but I guess he probably was mad at Kayla. Plus he helped me see the positivity of that incident. If that hadn't happened, maybe I'd never find out what a fake friend Kayla was."
Jenna nodded her head "True that. Well, I am happy for you sis. You deserve some happiness after the hell Kayla put you through. I am not gonna say that I am not surprised that you are finding it in Adam. You two used to hate each other with passion and I really thought you two would be enemies forever. Anyways, as they say there is a very thin line between love and hate. Glad you two crossed it."
"Enough about me now. How are you and Luke?" I winked at her.
"We are doing good as always. Talking about Luke reminds me, you wanted a lawyer yeah? Luke's mum is a criminal lawyer and his dad does commercial law. Which one do you want to meet or do you want some other lawyer?" Jenna asked.
"Luke's mom." I replied in a heartbeat.
Jenna's eyebrows creased in concern. "Just be safe Lisa. And tell me what's happening when you are comfortable."
I smiled fondly at her "Sure will do Jenna. So when can I meet Mrs. Radar?"
"I'll get you an appointment. Maybe tomorrow?" Jenna told me.
"That'd be perfect." I smiled.
"Now since that's out of the way, I can see that you are caught in a huge dilemma between choosing the perfect dress." said Jenna.

"Switch off the lights! Kylie's here!" Sally alerted us.
"Everyone, take your positions!" Commanded Luke.
It was a frantic flutter of movements as the lights were switched off and everyone hastily hid themselves behind tables, duvets, sofas, walls and cabinets.
The lock turned and Kylie walked in followed by Matt. Kylie's parents had let us have the house for ourselves today, but Kylie thought that they had gone on for a business trip. She had thought that Matt would be staying to have dinner with her. As she turned on the lights, all of us leapt from our hiding places and shouted "Surprise!"
Kylie shrieked in surprise and looked at us and the decor. "Oh my gosh guys, y'all gave me a fright!"
We laughed and Matt pulled out a party popper. Kylie shrieked once again as confetti showered over her. "Matt!" Kylie half laughed, half screamed as Matt carried her bridal style to where the cake was.
"Matt's clearly very hungry." Adam whispered to me. I rolled my eyes at him, Adam's being eyeing the cake since the time he saw it.
"As if you weren't eyeing the cake since the time you saw it."
Adam shrugged "It looks amazing and smells really good. After all, cakes are to be eaten anyway."
I mentally face palmed myself. Adam was a glutton, the biggest one I've ever seen but unlike me, that boy had great metabolism. He would eat like a pig yet managed to keep his six packs and figure while I just end up being more fatter.
