KEVIN'S POV
"Alena's been cutting" i told Joe plainly.
Alena was Joe's favorite niece so i knew this was not going to go over very well.
"WHAT?!?" he yelled and i watched as the shock took him over.
he started walking to go see her but i stopped him.
"Joe please, she's had it hard enough already. yelling at her is only going to make it worse."
"what do you mean?" he asked a bit irritated.
"look at her twitter page" i told him and he did as i said.
i watched as he read the comments...
she's been cutting and keeping it a secret no wonder her dad thinks she's a freak and left her...2 seconds ago
i heard she got sent to mental institute.... 3 minutes ago
good that's where she belongs.... 2 minutes ago

"Kevin i'm so sorry. how long has this gone on?" he asked.
i shrugged not knowing the answer.
"Joe i don't think she would have told me if i didn't walk in on her crying." as i said this i looked down at my hands in shame.
"where did i go wrong?" i asked to no one in particular.
" Kevin you didn't go wrong, your just facing a roadblock." joe said matter of factly.
"So what are you going to do?" Nick asked me with tears in his eyes.
they both loved Alena and i know they thought i would send her away.
"The only thing i can do, I'm gonna call mom and dad" i said to them and they looked relieved.
