Mae g'ovannen, mellyn! Welcome to my Book of LOTR Writing Prompts! This is just a random rush of inspiration that inspired me to make this. I figured nobody has done something like this, so I'm decided to post this.
This will be a collection of writing prompts from all of Tolkien's works: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Hobbit, and the Silmarillion. Maybe even some of his minor works as well. I'm hoping that these prompts will help inspire, motivate, and also jog your writer's block as you journey down the Tolkien Road.
If you are liking this, and would like to me to continue this, please let me know. And if you have any prompt ideas, hit some on me and I'll add them on here. You are all free to use these prompts for your own use. I'm not planning on using most of these, anyway. These are solely for you to enjoy! Though don't mind me if I use a couple of them. Hehehe! ^_^
I'm hoping to post one-to-three prompts a week, depending on how busy I am. I make no promises. At minimum, I'll probably be writing one prompt a week. But we'll see.
I'll also try to add some book and/or movie references into each prompt to give it some Middle-Earthy feel to it. But as I don't have all of the books -- and I often have to compete for them at the library that I go to -- I'll have to wait to write the references for certain prompts until I get the book.
Also, if you guys decide to write a one-shot or a story inspired by one of the prompts, please tag me or let me know so that I can read them. I'd be happy to read and review them. ^_^
Two things more:
1) Please tag as many people as you'd like who you know loves LOTR or any of Tolkien's works, so that as many people know about this book as possible.
2) And when you post a story based on any of these prompts, please give credit to its origin and give this book a shout-out if you want to, so that more people can be exposed to this book.
Thank you!
May the grace of Eru be with you!

Disclaimer: I haven't read all of his works, so I won't have all the variety that you might like. Especially since some of them aren't at the library I go to.
Double Disclaimer: I don't own any of Tolkien's works. Duh. If I did, I'd still be writing them, telling everyone about it, and certainly wouldn't be writing fanfiction about it least people think that it's canon. Also, my surname would've been Tolkien. lol XD
