Mairon (Sauron) is gathering some items for his master, Aule, when he's visited by Melkor (later to be called Morgoth), who offers him an opportunity to serve him and to gain the one thing Mairon always wanted: the power to bring order to the chaos of Middle-Earth and to subjugate -- or kill -- its inhabitants.
At first, Mairon resists, leading to the Great Debate which will end in ONE outcome.
In short: Write either in Mairon's POV or just write in the narrative POV during this scene.
Alternative: PLOT TWIST: Mairon refuses and stays on the Good Side. Sorry, Melkor, better luck next time.
Actually, you know what, burn you, Melkor! I hope Ungoliant eats him! Go corrupt some weak, petty, pathetic, power-hungry Men! I hear Harad is gullible this time of year! Leave poor Mairon alone; he's just trying to be a good Maia and apprentice and getting stuff for his mentor! lol XD
(I can't believe I'm telling Melkor to leave Mairon alone. It's not like I actually LIKE or CARE about Sauron at all or anything. lol XD)

Author's Note: Mae Govannen, Mellyn! I hope you're having a great weekend! I have another Mairon-centered prompt. Blame it on the picture above, because I wasn't even planning on doing another one. But it did. It was made. Now it can't be undone. lol XD
Next prompt will be about Melkor this time. What is it about? Well . . . let's just say I left a subtle hint in the above prompt. ;-)
Thank you, mellyn for reading this and I hope you have a splendid week!
Long Live the Night!
