LOTR Prompt #8: A New Age

Sauron's absolute and unconditional downfall, Aragorn's coronation, his union to Arwen Undominel, and the restoration of the Two Kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor to form the Reunited Kingdom have ushered in a new age: The Age of Men (or the Fourth Age to those who should already know this).

Now Aragorn will soon be King of both Gondor AND Arnor (cue unenthusiastic, half-hearted cheering on his part). As he is being crowned, Aragorn's mind wanders to past memories and reminisces. And remembers comrades both dead and living, and wonders if it's too late to turn back.

What is Aragorn's thoughts concerning the events of his coronation, the end of Evil Incarnate and the War of the Ring, the reunion with Arwen, and the New Age? What hopes does he have for the future?

In short: Write Aragorn's coronation in Aragorn's POV (the poor bean).

Bonus: Add another character's POV into this prompt for a different angle.

Alternative: Instead of writing this in Aragorn's POV, write it in someone else's POV, whether Elrond, Arwen, Gimli, Gandalf, Frodo or another of the Hobbits (or all four of them), Legolas, Faramir, Eowyn, Eomer, some random bystander (OC). . . . *mutters under his breath* Or Peter Jackson. . . .

. . .Or the ghost of a smirking Boromir who says, "Called it." and gets a begrudging King of the Dead and Isildur to pay up, with Elendil looking pleased with the outcome (I'm looking at you, Silverhand). LOL XD

Or even doing it from the City's or the Flag's POV. I don't know, do whatever you want; be CREATIVE!
