Some interesting things happen in this chapter... buckle up and enjoy the ride!

"What if he noticed? What if he starts asking questions? I can't fucking handle it if he started asking questions!" I gripped my hair in frustration and anxiousness as Taehyung continuously tried to calm me down.

"He's a nice guy, Yoongs. Even if he noticed, he won't say anything." Taehyung sat next to me on our shared couch with his hands cupping my cheeks to help try and calm me down.

"But he still might have noticed! What if he thinks I'm some giant loser who nobody likes being around?"

Taehyung removed his hands, dropping them to his lap, as he sighed. "That wouldn't happen. He knows you, so he should know that you're not a loser. We don't know what he saw and what he thinks, so we shouldn't spend our time worrying about it, okay?" Taehyung ruffled my hair, making me scrunch my nose while I tried to straighten my hair once more. He stood up from the couch, picking up his phone and dialing a number. With his phone to his ear, he turned back to me. "What kind of pizza you want?"

•••••••

I am currently sitting on the couch, surrounded by pizza and beer. Taehyung had decided to have us watch the Harry Potter movies. We had finished the first one before Taehyung, without asking me, invited Jungkook over. The two now sat on the other side of the couch. Taehyung was in Jungkook's lap as they were practically eating each other's faces, the alcohol affecting the small boys too much.

I turned the volume of the movie up in an attempt to cover the sound of their makeout session. Once Taehyung released a rather loud moan, I rolled my eyes before pausing the movie, getting off the couch. "Fucking horny ass kids." I grabbed my jacket, keys, and phone and opened the front door, only to run directly into Hoseok, who stood with a fist raised as if he was about to knock on the door. I stumbled slightly from the surprise and alcohol.

We stared at each other in confusion for a minute before Hoseok smiled. My heart fluttered inside of my chest. "Hey Yoongs! What's crackin'?"

I chuckled at his awkwardness as I closed the front door, the sound of Taehyung and Jungkook getting to be too much for my "virgin" ears.

"Hey, uh, why are you here? At my apartment? Where I didn't give you my address?"

"Jungkook asked me to tag along. He has been trying to get me to hang out with you more often, so..."

I started walking down the hallway, Hoseok following alongside me. Our hands brushed each other's, and I felt a slight shock down my spine. After that, I noticed Hoseok walking a little further away from me. I smirked as I gradually made my way closer to him.

He was telling me about this new dance competition that he was entering. He seemed really excited, and it made me happy for him. I can't deny the fact that I was upset when he said he would have to go to Japan for a week or two for the competition.

"Hoseok, when you put your number in my phone, dod you, um, see anything weird?" I interrupted him, not even aware that I was speaking until it was too late. I cursed at myself for being slightly intoxicated and not being able to control myself.

He raised an eyebrow before nodding. "You only had people from work there. Nobody in your phone is from outside of the office."

I pouted as I stopped walking, pulling him into a nearby alley where we wouldn't be in people's way. I rubbed my hands nervously on my thighs for a minute or two before I spoke? My voice coming out quite shakey. "That's because the only person who has ever given a shit about me is Taehyung."

"Surely that's not true." His beautiful figure leaned against the brick wall, as he crossed his arms over his chest.

I chewed on my lower lip. I was contemplating whether I should let it all out. To reveal to him the biggest secret of my entire life. He was patient. He hadn't said a single word in the few minutes I spent contemplating. I needed to tell somebody else. I needed someone else to be there in case Taehyung isn'g available. I need to learn to trust again.

"When I was younger," I cleared my throat. My eyes were staring at the ground, unable to meet Hoseok's beautiful chocolate eyes. "My parents died in a car accident. I was only five at the time, so I was taken in by my uncle. Everything was great at first..." I paused, trying to steady my shakey breath.

Hoseok put two fingers under my chin and made me raise my eyes to meet his. He gave me a weak smile. "You don't have to tell me, Yoongi. It's personal and I'm here if you want to talk, but please don't feel forced to do or say anything around me."

I closed my eyes.

Inhale.

Exhale.

I decided to blurt out the truth. The truth that had taken me close to five years to tell Taehyung, and I was telling Hoseok who I'd only known for a few months. While I still had the courage, I opened my mouth and spilled out my painful truth. "My uncle solicited me for money."
