My fingers tapped anxiously on Namjoon's desk as we listened to the backtrack we have been working on for the last week. We have already pushed the deadline back another two days, but we still couldn't figure out what else the track needed. We had tried adding some piano chords, more bass, even some hidden vocals. Nothing was giving us the sound that we wanted. We were both exhausted and frustrated, neither one of us having seen our beds in close to three days.

"What the fuck are we missing? Why can we not figure this out?" Namjoon growled in annoyance, rubbing his hands on his face roughly before banging a fist on the desk. "I want to go home! God, this wasn't supposed to be so difficult."

I nodded, my teeth grazing against my bottom lip. "We'll figure it out, Joon. We always do."

"The deadline can't be extended again, Yoongi. Bang basically chewed our asses out the first time we asked for the extension. This is due in six hours! We haven't made progress in days!"

"Relax. I will go get us both some coffee, take a few minutes to chill and we will figure this out." I patted him on the shoulder as I stood up, stretching my aching body before exiting the studio. My eyes squinted at the change in the lighting. "Fuck." I groaned, covering my eyes slightly while I adjusted. My eyes wandered to the window nearby, overlooking the city skyline. I checked the time on my watch before frowning. 1:32 AM.

I closed my eyes for a minute and took in a deep breath, and then made my way to the break room to make a fresh pot of coffee. The building was empty at this time of night, almost providing a sense of serenity. I hummed the song we are working on while I prepared the coffee, my mind racing to try and figure out what the sound needed. I hadn't seen Hoseok in days. He was sent off to Japan to choreograph a dance for an idol group. At this point, I wasn't sure if he was back already. I had shut my phone off to allow no distractions. I sighed as I checked my watch once more, my eyes feeling increasingly heavy. I picked up the pot of coffee, pouring the steaming liquid into the mugs, and made my way back to the studio.

"What if we were to make the bridge accapella?" I handed Namjoon his coffee after nudging him a couple of times to wake him up.

He hummed as he thought, taking a sip of the hot coffee, burning his taste buds. "We would have to get the vocalists in here and test it out. I don't think they would be too inclined to have us call them at almost 2 AM."

"This is just the demo. We don't need them to come in. Hell, I'll fucking sing the notes and we can mess with it and see if it'll be good."

Namjoon scoffed, clearly getting increasingly frustrated. "I don't think acapella would work. Let's think of something else."

I rolled my eyes, practically inhaling my coffee as my neck could hardly support my head anymore. "Dude, I am fresh out of ideas."

"God, me too. I'm too tired to think."

"Why is it that every time I come to visit, you two are always complaining and never working?" My body woke up at the sound of Hoseok's voice behind us. I jumped around and engulfed him in a hug.

"Hoseokie! W-Why are you here? It's so damn late!"

He pecked my lips, a tired smile on his face. "I went to your place and you weren't there so I came here to say hello! Hey, Namjoon."

"Hmmmm..." Namjoon's eyes drifted closed, his head lulling to the side. I clapped next to his ear, startling him back awake. "Oh, yes, thanks man."

"When is the deadline?"

I buried my head in Hoseok's chest, embracing his warmth and inhaling his sweet, masculine smell. "Like five hours."

"Well, let me listen and see if I can help."

I shook my head, looking up at him. "You've had a long few days, you should go sleep, babe."

Hoseok chuckled, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Don't think so, not when you look absolutely exhausted. I may be tired but at least I still look good. You have had much better days." He kissed my temple when he saw me pouting.

"Okay, love birds. Let's give this a shot."

For the last two hours we've been bouncing ideas off of each other, still with no luck. Hoseok sat on the small sofa, me between his legs as his arms wrapped around my waist. He rested his head on my shoulder so that it tickled my skin whenever he would talk, making me laugh before I slapped him.

Namjoon would constantly fall asleep in five-minute intervals until we woke him up, making him groan in annoyance at the fact that he had fallen asleep again.

"Okay, that's it. We obviously don't have anything so why don't we say that it's finished and turn it in?" Namjoon plopped his chin down on his propped up arm.

I shook my head instantly. "I don't say anything is finished until I'm happy with the result. Do I look happy?" I glared at him for extra measure.

Namjoon just chuckled. "No, you look like complete shit actually."

"Hey now! Be nice you two! Also, Yoongi, while you look tired, you are still beautiful." Hoseok whispered the last bit into my ear before planting a kiss on my ear lobe.

That is when an idea hit me, making me jump out of Hoseok's embrace and run to the screen. "I know what to do! Fuck. How did I not think of this sooner?"

We had turned in the track with only a few minutes to spare, Namjoon and I dragging our feet towards the elevators to head home for the first time in days. Hoseok had decided to tag along, insisting on giving me a "much-needed massage."

I crawled into my warm bed, my joints cracking from the stiffness. I heard Hoseok chuckle before he crawled on my back, his fingers gripping my shoulders. He dug them in, releasing the tension from my muscles, making me release soft moans of pleasure. The weight on me shifted a little before Hoseok spoke, right next to my ear.

"You keep moaning like that and I'll have no choice but to take you right here."

Red flushed up into my face, neck and ears as I buried my head in the mattress. His hands continued working, but this time I made sure to keep quiet. Of course I was ready to take that step with Hoseok, but I knew that I was too tired to enjoy it.

My eyes drifted closed, the feeling of Hoseok massaging me relaxing me enough to have the best night of sleep I've had in a while.
