Prepare for some cutesy fluff.

"Where are we going?" I tried to move my head to see through the blindfold, unsuccessfully.

I could hear Hoseok chuckle. "Be patient, babe. We're almost there."

"I'm tired." My feet ached as we walked down the long path. Hoseok had refused to tell me where we are going for our date, despite me crawling on my hands and knees, begging. I even did an aegyo, only for him to laugh and squish my cheeks. I had made the mistake of wearing a new pair of Converse, not yet broken in. They rubbed my feet in all of the wrong ways.

A firm grip on my shoulders stopped me, before I was forced to turn ninety degrees. I tried to raise my eyebrows in question, but only failed due to the blindfold.

"Hold out your hand." His voice was stern, but I could tell that he was about to explode from excitement.

"What?" I scoffed unintentionally at Hoseok's request. I felt him grab my hand and hold it between us, before a felt something cold being placed in my palm. "Hoseok, what is this?"

I could practically hear him smiling as he started to untie the blindfold across my eyes. I could feel the remaining sun in the sky hitting my eye lids, making my head hurt for a second until I adjusted.

"Open your eyes, babe." Hoseok's voice was right next to my ear, sending shivers down my spine.

I opened my eyes, feeling my heart stop at the beautiful sight. We were on a long pathway that lead to a tall tower. The tower had bright lights that provided a beautiful contract to the dark blue sky surrounding it, with hints of orange and pink from the sun setting behind it. The pathway was lined with fences on both sides, filled with colorful padlocks. I smiled as I recognized the scene from people speaking so highly of it.

"You brought me to Namsan Tower?" My face lit up as I turned to face my boyfriend, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I did." His smile has never been so bright, the lights surrounding us illuminating his honey skin. "I figured that we could do a padlock together." He reached for my hand, showing me the green padlock in my palm. I felt myself blush at the idea, my heart swelling inside of my chest.

Hoseok pulled out a marker and handed it to me so I could write the note for the padlock. My nervous fingertips gripped the pen as I scribbled the small phrase, showing it to Hoseok, who stared at me with teary eyes before nodding. He put his hand on mine as we locked the padlock on an empty spot on the fence. I passed the key to Hoseok, who pecked me softly on the lips.

I laid my head on his chest as my arms wrapped around his waist. We looked at the other locks near ours, our eyes always wandering back to the message displayed proudly on ours. Hoseok's lips kissed my temple before he whispered a soft, "I love you."

I pulled out my phone, taking a picture of the message, always wanting to remember this moment. The moment that I realized where my life was headed. I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, and who I wanted to spend it with.

"Do you mean what I think you mean?" Hoseok's voice by my ear startled me out of my thoughts.

I chuckled nervously. "If you're thinking what I'm thinking, then yes."

We admired the night sky, feeling a chill in the air. I shivered from the cold, despite Hoseok's warmth next to me. The stars twinkled beautifully above us, almost as if my parents were sending me their approval. I smiled to them, sending a silent, "I love you" to them before I frowned. My heart ached for them. I missed them terribly. I wish they hadn't left me here to deal with everything alone, but I knew know that they were always there watching. I could feel like they were finally proud of me.

"It's getting late, Yoongs. We should head back."

I nodded, feeling drained from the overwhelming day that we had. I stared at the message one last time, my lips tugging up into smile once more. "Yeah, let's go."

"So, what did you write?" Taehyung was clearly overly-excited as we spoke on the phone later that evening. I didn't want to wake him, but I was too overwhelmed and needed to tell my best friend everything.

"You're so desperate to know! What if we want to keep it private?"

Taehyung laughed loudly on the other end of the line. "Bullshit. I'm your best friend, you're legally obligated to tell me everything."

I rolled my eyes, huffing exaggeratedly. "Do you really want to know?"

"Yes! Yes please, yes! I am dying here! You can't call me this late and not give me anything. Jungkook is staring at me like I'm crazy here. Tell me!"

I chuckled at how adorable my best friend is before I took a deep breath, partially to settle my nerves, and partially for suspense. "Fine."

I cleared my throat, everything around my completely silent as I finally comprehended what I had written on the green padlock that was now surrounded by millions of other professions of love. I smiled as I remembered how much Hoseok's eyes lit up after seeing what I had written in my chicken scratch, and my nerves dissipated.

"Tell me! Come on the suspense is killing me!"

I released one more breath, relaxing my body and easing away all of the tension as I told him what he so desperately wanted to know.

"I do."
