I forced myself to smile, something I had become scarily good at. "Min Yoongi, nice to meet you." My voice came out normal too, despite my racing pulse and the sweat threatening to spill from my pores.

Jimin winked before breaking our handshake. He turned and faced Hoseok, who had, once again, returned to the speakers. "Which one are we working on today, Hobi?"

Hoseok had an almost wicked smile on his face when he looked Jimin directly in the eyes. "Touch my Body."

Jimin groaned as he stepped out into the center of the dance floor. Hoseok turned on the music, joining Jimin. I was trying to hold in my life watching them dance. I could tell that they were just having fun, and it made me happy to see Hoseok so happy. I released a healthy chuckle, startling myself. Jimin turned to me and then to Hoseok. He whispered something, and a moment later, Hoseok was lifting me off the ground and dragging me out to the dance floor.

"I want to see your moves, Yoongi!" Hoseok clapped excitedly. I laughed nervously as I tried to think of an excuse to get out of it. I could already feel my nerves and anxiety crawling on my skin. I shook my head rapidly as I backed away from the center of the room.

Jimin smirked as he grabbed my arm, yanking me back to the center. "Come on, Yoongi! Don't be afraid, we don't judge. Show us what you got."

"I don't want to," I mumbled.

"Jimin, if he doesn't want to, then don't force h-" Jimin cut Hoseok off with his hand before turning back to Yoongi.

"We're the only two people here. You don't have a large audience or anything, why are you so nervous?"

I had to force all of my emotions in. It made me angry that Jimin was pushing me, and Hoseok stood off to the side, barely paying attention. My patience was finally broken when Jimin wrapped an arm around my waist, trying to nudge me to start dancing. "Stop!" I shouted before I could stop myself. Hoseok and Jimin both looked at me with concerned eyes. "Don't fucking touch me." I stormed out of the studio, fighting back the tears that threatened to fall.

I walked right past Namjoon, who looked at me with the same concerned look I had received from Jimin and Hoseok. I ran into the bathroom, locking the door as I finally released my tears, the weight on my chest being too heavy. I took out my cell phone with shaky hands and dialed the number, taking deep breaths while I waited for an answer.

"Yoongi?"

"Tae...I-I need you." My voice was shaky and weak as my sobs started to consume me.

"Shit, okay. Where are you? I'm in the office, I can come to you."

I gave him my location, and I heard him scuffling around on the other line. "Okay, don't worry. Stay calm. I'm on my way. Deep breaths. Inhale." I took a deep breath in through my mouth. "And exhale." I exhaled through my nose, already feeling my body calm down slightly.

"Okay, unlock the door, I'm walking up now." Taehyung hung up the phone and I immediately unlocked the door. He wrapped his arms around me comfortably. I buried my head into his neck, inhaling his sweet vanilla scent. He whispered soft words of "it's okay" to me, while my tears stained his shirt.

Taehyung pulled my head back to wipe away my tears. "Can you tell me what happened now?"

I chewed on my lower lip, but then Taehyung slapped my arm. "Stop chewing on your lip! I told you I would slap you everytime I saw you do it!"

I let a soft chuckle slip out, earning a small smile from Taehyung. "There he is! Now, talk to me."

I explained what happened, and I then started to complain about how stupid I am for overreacting and how they probably think I'm crazy and mental. Taehyung listened patiently to the whole thing while he continued to wipe away my tears.

I let out a rush of air before Taehyung left a gentle kiss on my forehead. "You're so strong, Yoongi. You didn't overreact. You reacted in a way that would be expected for someone in your... situation. They don't know your life so they probably won't understand, but I know your life, and I understand, okay?"

I nodded. "Thank you, Tae. What would I do without you?"

"You'd probably starve to death considering you can't cook for shit." Taehyung giggled, flashing me a big smile.

I smiled back, letting another chuckle slip. "I'm okay now. We should probably get back to work."

Taehyung wiped away my last few tears and fixed my hair before opening the door for me. He walked with me to my studio since he had never seen it before. We made some small talk on the way. "How're you liking your new job?"

Taehyung smiled wide. "I love it. The people are fantastic. There is one guy who is absolutely delicious."

"Tae, your gay is showing again."

Taehyung shrugged. "Who cares? This guy is flipping gorgeous. I don't even know his name. I'm too scared to talk to him."

"Everyone here is super nice, I'm sure he would be too." We turned the corner by the studios and I froze. Hoseok sat with his back against the door to my studio. Taehyung flashed me a quick look of confusion before I took a step forward, clearing my throat. "Hoseok."

Hoseok's eyes jerked up to meet mine, and he immediately scrambled off of the ground so he stood in front of me. "Hey Yoongi. Uh, who is this?"

I was about to open my mouth when Taehyung extended a hand. "Kim Taehyung. I'm Yoongi's best friend."

Hoseok's eyes lit up with a sense of recognition, althought I couldn't figure out why he would recognize the name. "Nice to meet you, Taehyung. I'm Jung Hoseok. I'm a friend of Yoongi's."

Taehyung nodded as an obvious sense of realization hit him. I looked at him, and he smirked and nodded once more when he caught on. "I should get back to the art department. Nice to meet you, Hoseok. Yoongi, I will see you at home, yeah?"

"See you, Tae." I mumbled before unlocking my studio, motioning for Hoseok to follow.

I feel bad for always making Jimin come off as the bad guy but it is probably only temporary. 🤷🏼‍♀️
