Hoseok sat at the table across from Jungkook. He had had to bribe the younger to come with him, but he let it slip that his blind date is super hot, and that made Jungkook smile.
"How hot is he really, hyung?" Jungkook was adjusting his hair for the millioneth time.
"I think you'll be pleased." I smirked as I leaned back in my seat. I checked the time on my watch: 6:31 PM. "God dammit, Yoongi. Why're you late?"
"We're late because my little friend here couldn't decide which Gucci sweater to wear." I laughed as I watched Hoseok and Jungkook jump.
Taehyung and Jungkook noticed each other, Taehyung instantly wrapping a hand on my arm and leaning close. "Holy shit! That's the hot guy I told you about! I would've worn my nicer Gucci if I had known it was him."
I rolled my eyes before taking the seat next to Hoseok. The table was silent for a moment until Hoseok cleared his throat. "So, uh, Jungkook, this is Taehyung. Taehyung, Jungkook."
I watched as both of the males blushed, before eyeing each other. Jungkook giggled, smiling brightly at Taehyung. "I like your sweater, Taehyung. It looks good."
Taehyung's face turned an even brighter red before he turned to look at the options of lamb skewers.
After ordering, Hoseok whispered to me, "We need to get them talking more. Any ideas?"
I cleared my throat, straightening up my posture. "So, Jungkook. Why don't you tell Taehyung what you do at the office."
Jungkook nodded. "I rotate through the dance, art, and music departments."
"That's really, uh, cool. W-what do you d-do in the m-music d-department?" I couldn't help but chuckle at Taehyung's stuttering. It was adorable.
Jungkook worked his magic with his bunny-toothed smile. "I sing."
"He's incredible!" Hoseok cut in. "You should hear him sing or watch him dance sometime. He is just amazing at everything. I really kind of hate him."
Jungkook smacked Hoseok on the arm as Taehyung laughed. The mood was already much lighter than it was before, something I was grateful for. The waitress returned with our orders of lamb skewers. Taehyung, being the only one to not eat here before, took the first bite. His eyes rolled to the back of his head as he hummed from the deliciousness.
"Holy moley that is the best damn thing I've ever had in my life."
"Wait until you try Jungkook's dick," I mumbled, only to have Hoseok choke on his drink next to me. I blushed in embarrassment.
Hoseok was laughing loudly as he turned to me. "That was hilarious Yoongi."
Jungkook's eyes met mine. "What did you say, hyung?"
"I can guess and bad hyung!" Taehyung smacked me a couple of times until I put my arms up in defense.
"Okay okay! I'm sorry. Stop abusing me, Tae!"
•• The rest of the evening went about the same. I ended up footing Taehyung's bill, as promised. I left feeling happy for Taehyung, but deep down I was disappointed. Hoseok hardly paid me any attention. Sure, we would talk every now and then, but it made me feel like it was just to go along with the "fake date" part of the plan.
Needless to say... I was emotionally exhausted by the end of the evening.
•• Hoseok and I only discussed business for the few days following the double "date." We finally finished his song, and Hitman Bang said he really loved it. Hoseok had hugged me, thanking me for helping him, and then escaped to the dance studio.
I currently was on my way to his usual studio, a burned CD in my hand. He had asked for a copy of the song. He wanted to learn a dance to it, so I was on my way to deliver it to him.
Through the glass windows, I could see Jimin in the room, but no Hoseok. Weird. I decided to overcome my anxiety and entered the studio. Jimin immediately turned to face me and smiled. "Well look who it is! Min Yoongi himself!" He smiled at me, and this time it was authentic.
"Hi Jimin. Where's Hoseok?"
"He had to pee. The man has the tiniest freaking bladder I've seen."
I chuckled as I heard the door open, and Hoseok's footsteps echoing through the room. "Hey hyung!"
Hyung?
I cleared my throat to push all of my emotions back down. "I just was dropping off the copy of your song."
I handed it to Hoseok, who smiled as he went to go put it into the stereo. "Sweet! Thanks pal!"
I chewed on my bottom lip as I nodded. "I should get going. Uh, I'll see you around." I was almost out the door when a hand stopped me.
I turned to face Hoseok, who gripped my hand with a rather strong grip. God his hands are so soft. "Why are you in such a rush?"
I shrugged. "I just figured you were busy."
"I'm never too busy for you. Come on! You can watch my process of choreographing dances! I can teach you a little bit too! Only if you want, of course."
My eyes met Jimin's, who gave me two thumbs up and a wink before pointing at Hoseok, making a heart with his hands. I took a deep breath. "Sure, why not?"
Hoseok wore the biggest smile I've seen him wear yet.
