yumi laid on her bed while looking at the ceiling and was unbelievably bored.

she decided to get some fresh air and open the window. sadly, the only view she had was the window of the house besides hers.

while endlessly staring at nothing  she suddenly saw a tall figure standing there.

she kept her eyes on the figure as it walked around the room looking worried about something. yumi saw an object in their hand that seemed like a phone.

they kept tapping the phone.
maybe texting?

out of the blue, she heard a ding from her phone. it startled her and she almost fell on her booty.

she saw it was from an unknown number.

unknown: yumi?

who is this?;

she waited for a reply as she looked out her window again. my phone ding-ed once more.

unknown: it's me your favorite person

she sat there in confusion.

unknown: ITS ME LUCASSS

she laughed.
yumi looked back at the window and saw that the neighbors curtains started to move. then she caught a slight glance at the face of the tall figure.

there right in front of her was wong yukhei himself.

he was focused on his phone, tapping his foot waiting for something
then she quickly started typing on her phone realizing he was waiting for her reply.

oh hey lucas;

she said trying to stay calm.

*changed contact to "lucas 🍓"*

lucas 🍓: hehe hi

look out your window;

she then stared intensely at his window waiting for him to completely unveil the curtain. she saw his hand open the curtain. he saw her and grinned.
he waved and mouthed "HI YUMI"

she giggled and just waved back .

you told me you were my neighbor but i didn't know you were THIS close;

lucas🍓: lol oops

lucas🍓: we should hang out sometime

she choked on air.

and that's when he left me on read.
this made her frown.

lucas saw yumi frown when he didn't reply to her message and left her on read. he giggled at how adorable it was to him.

he didn't realize he was admiring her for such a long time until his phone vibrated with a notification.

it was from her.

his face got hot. lucas looked out the window and saw her laughing at him. then he just stared down and laughed himself.
