when school ended yumi had planned to meet up with lucas at the bus stop. he told her he wanted to bring her somewhere.

she stood near the bus stop looking down at her feet waiting for lucas to arrive. she felt tap on her shoulder and turned around to see her favorite smile.

"sorry i made you wait"
he apologized while putting his hands in his pockets.

"it's okay"
she smiled reassuring him that it didn't bother her.

he led her to his bicycle as they both sat down.

"you are gonna have to hug me to hold on, okay yumi?"

"okay"

she wrapped my arms around his waist .
he turned to look at her and his whole face was pink.

she looked so small compared to him. his tall figure covered her view of where exactly they were going. she rested her head on his back and looked at the view. she started to feel her eyes get heavy as she ended up taking a quick nap.

"yumi we are here"
lucas whispered lightly shaking her.

yumi yawned and looked around. the warm sun lightly kissing her skin as it was golden hour. she looked over to a field full of flowers.

"woah this is so beautiful"

"just like you"

she scoffed then cringed at his joke.

she ran off to the field laughing at lucas' confused face

"hey wait up!!!"
lucas said laughing.

they went on and laid on a patch of grass surrounded by beautiful trees and a variety of lovely flowers.
she stood up and stared at the flowers one by one admiring the vibrant colors and soft petals.

"you really like flowers huh?"
lucas said standing up straight and glancing at me.

"yep"
she nodded.

they both started picking flowers and running around the fields laughing together.

later the pair sat down and snacked on some treats lucas brought.

the sun was finally disappearing behind the mountain range. she was all warm as she felt lucas hugging her from behind.

"happy birthday, i hope you had fun"
he said resting his head on her shoulder.

she was shocked but just stood still and smiled cheekily.

"i loved it so much. thank you lucas"
she finally had enough courage to hug him back.

"i'm glad i met you"
yumi heard him say under his breath .
perhaps she wasn't supposed to hear that but she replied to him in a very low soft voice, (this which shocked him and made him very embarrassed)

"i'm glad i met you too"

once it finally got dark her and lucas got back on the bike and rode home. he dropped her off at her house.

"thank you, again, for today"

"your welcome yumi"

he looked like he wanted to say something else but never got to from a noise coming from his house.

"goodnight mayumi."

"goodnight"

he walked back to his front door. for some odd reason she had a bad feeling . she didn't know why .
she decided to ignore it and think about how amazing today was, how she wish it had never ended.
