Chapter 11

Delaine

Very soon, my family will be arriving to the my house. I'm making myself crazy trying to clean up and get dinner ready for everybody. 

I was just taking the garlic bread out of the oven when I heard the doorbell ring. That couldn't be them I told them 7:45 and it was only 7. I went to go open the door and Michael was standing there holding a bouquet of flowers, looking sexy. I smiled and let him in. He handed me the flowers.

"Hey baby." I said to him right before he kissed me.

"It smells good in here." He complimented.

"Thanks. Umm, Michael can you prepare the salad. All the lettuce and stuff is in the door of the fridge. I need to go get ready."

He groaned. "Please baby?" I pleaded.

"You know I gotchu. Go get ready." He said slapping me on the butt. I shrieked and pulled my apron off and handed it to him. He gave me a look. He took it and hung it up where the other aprons were.

I went into the bedroom and took a shower. 

I came out the shower and went back into the room to put on my dress. It was a pastel blue baby doll dress with an empire waist. I paired it with dark orange accessories.

Tyga

       Delaine's family, Alicia and Chris are coming to dinner at Delaine's apartment so that I could meet them. This was going to be an interesting dinner. 

       A the doorbell rang. 

       "Can you get that?" Delaine called from the other room.

       I went to the door opened it and there were two men standing there, I guessed they were her brothers. 

       "Is this Delaine Flowers's apartment?" the taller one asked.

       "Yeah. I'm Michael, her boyfriend. Come in."

       "Oh, so you're Michael." The shorter one started. "The way Delaine described you I thought you were some buff, tall, thuggin nigga. Boy, did she over sell it." The nerve of this nigga. I was about to tell him about himself but, Delaine came into the room.

       "Spencer! Aidan!" She hugged the tall one, then the shorter one.

       "Hey baby sis." The tall one said.

       "You guys this is Michael. Get yourselves acquainted." She said then disappeared into the kitchen.

       "I'm Spencer and this is Aidan." The tall one said.

        I forced a smile.

We stood there in an awkward silence. Aidan rocked back and forth on his feet. Spencer looked around the living room. The doorbell rang again. Great more family members.

Delaine went to answer the door. There stood Alicia and Chris. I sighed inwardly. Thank god!

She hugged and kissed them both on the cheek. They greeted Spencer and Aidan like they already knew them. Chris gave me a dap and Alicia hugged me.

"What's up, nigga?" He asked me.

"Nothing, man." 

Alicia went into the kitchen with Delaine. Minutes later they came out with 5 glasses of wine. Alicia's pregnant so she has water.

I took the wine and gulped it all.

"Michael, slow down. The drink is not running away from you." Delaine said.
