Knocking, Connor hangs his head pulling his bottom lip between his teeth when silence answers him. It worries him for the first few moments when he can't hear cries, or even something as soft as Liam's heavy sighs.
Dragging his index finger down the white pained door, he knocks again reaching the middle, "Lee," His gruff voice fills the desolate hallway, eyes flutter closed when yet again he hears nothing.
Behind the door sat Liam in the black desk chair, he had pulled his knees to his chest, staring out the window that taunted him with the outside. Liam so badly wanted to jump, to end everything and leave. He debated leaving his life behind, the cameras, his brothers, his parents.
Wouldn't that make everything easier?
"Lee?"
Turning his head slowly, he swallows thickly noticing the change in voice, this one didn't belong to Connor. "Lee, it's me." Again, not Connor, not Niall.
Liam wants to be the luckiest person alive and peel the door back to see Zayn, a boy he'd fall for quite quickly, but instead, it only reveals to be Bradley.
His eyes drop at the appearance of his older brother, "Nice to see you as well," Bradley muses pulling Liam in for a much-needed hug. Liam finally lets his guard down loosening in the hug as tears well in his eyes, the hug he'd been craving for years he was getting. A hug from someone other than Niall or the rare Connor hug.
"Are you okay?" Bradley stupidly asks rubbing his hand down Liam's back soothingly, "W-who told you?" Liam sniffles using the back of his hand to dab at his eyes, "Dad did," he admits eyes studying Liam, the boy looked as if he hadn't a meal in weeks, much less any sleep.
"You look poor,"
"I am." Liam whispers returning to his chair with a stoic look embedded into his face, "I don't want to live anymore, Bradley."
"Do we tell him?" Louis asks lowering his voice to a whisper loud enough only Harry can hear, "Tell him what dear? You didn't carry him? What's it going to matter-"
"The fact that he not really yours-" Connor interrupts glaring at Louis, Harry returns the daggers jerking Connor into the room by his jacket, "He is ours, just as much as you. You've got quite the balls to be talking to me like that-"
"What're you 'gunna do? Hit me?" Connor challenges, "Remember I was the mistake you didn't want. At least Liam was planned." Louis rises from his spot where he perched on the chair, "Connor, you were never a mistake. Baby, things were hard-"
"Things didn't have to be hard, you were selfish." Louis scoffs his demeanor now sarcastic, "For wanting children-"
"To use innocent children to fix yourselves. You were a coward then, and you're just as much now."
