Hermione had to go to the game. She wanted to support Draco and watch him play. Before, whenever the Slytherin team went up against... Any of the other houses, Hermione wouldn't pay attention to any of the Slytherin players and would usually root for whoever they were up against. But she especially rooted for Gryffindor whenever they were playing against Draco's team. But today, Slytherin was going up against Ravenclaw and Hermione was going to tag along with Ginny and Harry to watch the game.

"Wow, Draco is moving really fast." Hermione said, unable to stop herself from thinking out loud. Ginny gave her a funny look.
"Why are you paying attention to Draco? All the action is where Ollie, Brady, and Mandy are." Hermione didn't know the names of the team members as well as Ginny did so she just shrugged and tried to tear her eyes away from her housemate. It was hard though. Extremely hard. Draco's luminous hair shone in the sun and he was moving fast, zipping between players and around the goals as him and the Ravenclaw Seeker tried to capture the snitch. Hermione remembered how thrilling it was to watch Harry do the same.
She could barely contain her smile as she watched him move. Eventually she had to look down at her book and pretend that something there had interested her. Luckily, neither of her friends were paying much attention to her. Right then and there, Hermione made a decision to go find Draco after the game, regardless of the results. She wanted to tell him that she had come, that she had been rooting for him. That she would always be rooting for him.

Hermione slipped away from Ginny and Harry and quickly made her way to the Slytherin tents. She tried to appear inconspicuous. She tried to look like she belonged back here, though she wouldn't have been able to explain why if someone asked her. Breathlessly, she peeked around the corner of a white tent, eyeing the green and silver trimmed one just a few steps away from her. She squared off her shoulders and marched forward but paused at the tent opening. There would be other players beyond the fabric. What was she thinking? She couldn't just step in and ask for Draco. People would become confused. They would start to wonder why she wanted to see him. Just because they're Head Boy and Head Girl, doesn't mean anything.
Thankfully, before Hermione could make a decision about what to do, she heard Draco's voice. He was going to step outside. Running around to the side of the tent and hiding behind some stacked barrels, Hermione waited for him to emerge. "Yeah, I'm going back to my tower."
"You gonna display that snitch? Rub it Hermione's face?"
"She doesn't even play Quidditch you git." Hermione tried not to giggle at the irritated tone in Draco's voice.
"I know but I'm talking about the win Draco! Maybe she'll be pissed that our team won instead of Ravenclaw." Draco chuckled.
"I think Granger could care less about who won. She probably wasn't even out there in the stands. I'll see all of you idiots at practice." There was a chorus of goodbyes before Draco pushed his way out of the tent. He ran his hand through his sweaty hair, and sighed. He wished Hermione could have seen him today.
