A/N:

This chapter is dedicated to my Tito, who passed away recently of Stage 4 Throat Cancer. He was a good man, He was like a father to me who loved my Mom and I. There was just so much I wasn't able to tell him before he passed away. I'm sorry Tito for all the times I chose to break your heart and Mom's. I regret the time we had a fight, I never even said sorry then, but know how much I am. I love you Tito. May you rest in peace.

Devin's POV:

I woke up with Myrtle still in my arms, it made me smile as she hugs me. I kissed her forehead, her eyelids and her lips. Then, her eyes started to flutter open. She smiles at me, like any other day. She carefully lifts her head up to kiss my lips, before greeting me.

"Good morning, love." she says to me with a smile.

"Good morning, love." I replied to her.

"We should get up, our families are waiting." she smiled as she lets me go from her hug and gets up from the bed.

"You can go and take a bath first, I'll prepare coffee in the kitchen." I told her before I got up from bed.

I went to the kitchen to prepare coffee for us, as we would be having breakfast with our family later, before Dad and I would head out on our own way. After a few minutes, I poured the coffee in two big mugs, I took a sip at mine, while I waited for Myrtle to finish taking a bath. She emerges from the door of her room.

"Your turn to take a bath, love." She calls out to me as she approached me to give me a quick peck on the lips.

"Go drink your coffee, before it gets cold." I said to her as I finished the last sip from my cup.

"Alright, love. Go. I'll wash the mugs." She smiled at me.

I went back to her room and got in the bath room. I took a shower and got dressed. We were dressed in layers today, as the winter here in New York is different from the other States. It gets really cold outside. The forecast for this week was the temperature will drop to -10° Celsius possibly even more. After dressing myself up, I made my way out her room, carrying with me our coats. She smiled upon seeing me.

"Thank you." she says to me as she takes, the coat from my hand.

"Welcome." I smiled at her as she gets her purse from the couch.

We walked hand in hand to the parking space. I opened the door of my truck for her, making sure she was comfortably seated before closing the door. I alighted my truck and buckled myself in, before I started to drive to Holiday Inn at Times Square where our families stayed for the week. It was a 32 minute drive. While on the road, Myrtle played songs from her phone, the next song on her playlist is Sinta.

She looks at me with a wide smile, as the guitar intro started to play.

"Love, crush ko yung nagcompose ng kanta na to. Ang pogi niya kasi." She said to me with a wide grin.

"Talaga ba love? Gwapo ba yun? Eh mukang panda bear naman yun eh." Sinakyan ko ang trip niya.

"But she's cute. I love cute panda bears, you know?"

"Hmmm... Kaya pala eh." sagot ko sa kanya na natatawa-tawa.

"Love, seriously, how are you able to write beautiful songs and sing so beautifully and soulfully too?" She asked me

"Ewan ko din love, pero ganyan ata talaga kung inspired na inspired ka. You inspire me love, to be the best person and also to write songs." I smiled at her.

Once we have reached the hotel, I went down and opened the door for her and handed the key to the Valet.
