Honeymoon at the new house

Devin's POV:

Natapos na ang wedding namin, nasa reception na kami ni Myrtle. Naghihintay ng queue para pumasok na kami sa venue. Saglit kasi kaming kinuhaan ng photo, habang lumulubog na ang araw.

"Wubb wubb." Sabi ni Myrtle. Lagi itong nagbebaby talk kapag may kailangan, may ilalambing o may naiisip itong kalokohan.

"Yes po, Wubb?" Sagot ko

"Thank you for planning this wedding, wubb. Nagenjoy ako, sobrang ganda ng lugar, nadali mo talaga yung vision ko for this wedding. Galing mo talaga wubb!" Sabay kiss nito sa akin sa lips.

"Wow, you steal kisses now ha? I'll get you back later, Mrs. Lennon. But for now, we have to attend to our wedding guests." I smiled at her and grabbed her hand.

We entered the venue, the dj played some music for our entrance and we danced and wiggled our way upfront. Everyone was enjoying, laughing and making some noise. Cara who was our Emcee smiled at us and started the program.

"Okay, guys. We'll start off with the first dance for the bride and groom. Mommy Clara, Daddy Gareth and Daddy Adrian, please step up and get ready for the dance, to fill in for Mommy Christy, who couldn't be here today, may we call on Ate Madison."

Pinaupo muna sila sa gilid as we stood in front of them, Arden and Aria started to sing, You by Drop N' Harmony. Myrtle and I swayed, into the music, both smiling silly. Bago pa matapos ang first stanza, our Dad approached us and danced with us.

"Congratulations, anak. Finally, kasal na kayo ni Myrtle." My dad said.

"Thank you, Dad. You always fought for me. You and Mom."

I told him sincerely.

"Welcome, anak. Syempre no, ipaglalaban kita ng patayan." Dad smiled at me.

"Dad, I'm all grown up, may asawa na nga ako eh. Kaya ko na ipaglaban ang sarili ko. Ikaw, kailangan mo nang magpahinga Dad."

"I will in time anak. Thank you for being such a good daughter to me anak. I love you."

"I love you too, Dad."

Then, it was time for me and Myrtle's Dad to Dance.

"Hija, alagaan mo ang anak ko ha? Medyo makulit lang yan, pero sweet naman." Daddy Gareth said.

"I will definitely take care of her Daddy Gareth. Sanay na sanay na po ako sa kulit niya."

"Maraming salamat, for giving her all the love you could. Lalo na nung akala namin ay tapos na ang lahat sa inyo."

"Dad, sorry po, hindi ko lang talaga siya maalala nung time na yon. I regret those years we had to be apart. Hindi na po mangyayari ulit."

"Hija, nonsense. Alam ko naman kung gaano mo ka-mahal si Myrtle. I am thankful na ang puso mo ang unang naka-alala. Kasi kung hindi, baka ngayon ay wala pa din kayo dito sa kasal ninyo." Daddy Gareth chuckled.

"Oo nga po eh." I chuckled at him.

Then we glided through the music, maya-maya pa ay lumapit naman si Ate Madison sa akin, at nakipagsayaw ito.

"Bunso, I can call you that now. Salamat for loving my little sister so much. Nice job for planning a wedding on your own."

I smiled back at her.

"Thank you din po, ate. I always knew you supported us, kahit malayo ka."

"Silly, of course I will support her, she is so happy that you two got back together, you make her happy and you cook great barbeque, so... Win-win, I guess?" She chuckled at me.
