It's January again, the past Christmas break ay hindi kami naka-uwi ni Devin sa California, we asked our family not to fly to New York either dahil pareho kaming busy sa Thesis namin. Bagay na ikinalungkot naman nila.
Simple lang ang ginawa naming Holiday ni Devin, we had a simple Christmas Eve dinner, may exchange gift kami katulad ng mga nakaraang taon na nagcelebrate kami together. Niregaluhan ako ni Devin ng watch na kapareho ng kanya.
While I bought her a new pair of headphones, na pwede niya din gamitin sa pagrerecord niya ng kanta. The New Year's Eve, we spent it with Abby and Batch who are now about to graduate from college.
Malapit na naming matapos ang Thesis namin na idedefend sa final year namin. Devin, likewise was about to finish the final chapter of their Thesis. But, we had to look for companies who will accept us as their interns, naka-lista na kami ng mga companies na pwede naming pag-internan ni Devin. Para sa darating na Sem ay meron na kaming company na papasukan.
Naging abala si Devin sa school at sa tour ng Sinthesis na tuwing weekend nila ginagawa sa mga nearby states. Dahil dito ay nakapag-plano ako ng mabuti para sa kanyang surprise birthday party.
It is a surprise Dinner at a Hotel, together with our Families. Intimate at small gathering lang, together with Abby and Batch and the band. I got her a new guitar strap, dahil yung old strap ng guitara na binigay ni Tito Adrian ay malapit nang masira, I bought her two straps, isa para sa accoustic guitar niya.
It was a personalized guitar strap. Black na may naka embroider na mga hearts at ang pangalan niya. Ang isa naman ay may naka-embroider na logo ng banda nila at pangalan niya.

I woke up with Myrtle already gone to school, may note siyang iniwan na nakadikit sa phone ko.
Good morning, love! Happy birthday! I can't wait for you to find out what I have been up to. See you later after your class, please dress up nicely. Try to have fun today at school, I won't be available for lunch later, due to my thesis, but I will make sure to be with you come dinner time. I have prepared a little birthday breakfast for you, along with your birthday gift. I hope you'll love it.

Agad akong napangiti sa note niya, I got up after reading her note and turning the alarm off. Pagdating ko sa Kitchen, true to her words, there was my breakfast and my birthday gift. I poured myself hot coffee and sat down at the table. Binuksan ko ang gift niya sa akin.
Nakita ko ang dalawang black na guitar straps ang isa ay para sa accoustic guitar ko at ang isa ay para sa jaguar guitar ko, the one for the jaguar had Sinthesis' band logo and my name on it.
