He's Ruined Everything

Tedros stood there in shock by her answer he didn't believe it would be that easy, now he could work on getting Agatha back. He joined the group of students and listened to Dean Dovey list assignments to the students. "Alright," she started "I want all of the first years to go with Kiko,Reena, and Chaddick. Second years go with Beatrix, Hort, and Agatha. Now obey there instructions with purpose and without question." Everyone started to scatter immediately to there assigned groups. 

"Um professor I don't have an assigned group."Tedros said confused.

"Well those who don't have an assigned post are supposed to help with other projects, not as captains but as assistants." Dovey explained.

"So we can go to any section to help?"

"Yes, unless you'd rather be going to class?" 

Tedros sprinted in the direction Agatha's group went trying to see what they were doing. Agatha and Hort were explaining the instructions on how to channel their emotions into making their fingers glow and fire spells. Agatha spent most of the time helping the struggling second years,while Hort worked with the succeeding students. "What happened to Beatrix?"Tedros thought crouching behind the bushes. "Is there anything we can help you with Teddy?" Beatrix grinned from her hiding spot or more so lounging spot on a rock filing her nails. Tedros was about to move when spotting Agatha's eyes on him. Clearly she was wondering what in the blazes was he doing there. 

"Are you here to help Tedros?" She questioned.

"Yes."

"Well then come with me to collect rocks near the shore for  targeting practice." She said already walking off. Tedros followed her to the shore receiving a bucket to fill rocks with. Tedros  felt the tension he couldn't think of anything that would break the silence. 

"Why did you allow me to help your group if you hate me?"

Agatha rolled her eyes at him. " Well one because we need your help, two because you admitted something to me, and three because I don't hate you (As much as I used to)."

"Did I admit that I was sorry and cheated on you?" He questioned.

"No"

"Then what did I say that made you change your mind?" He questioned.

"You finally admitted that you're an idiot and a jerk." She said a smirk pulling at her lips.

"I really am an idiot aren't I?"He said returning the smirk with a twisted grin.

"Yes,yes you are." Her reply smooth and clean. In that moment Tedros wished they could have stayed like that forever. Just the two of them out near the shore staring into each other's eyes listening to the sound of an enchanting breeze, but alas all good things must come to an end. Agatha turned her back to him and walked back the way they came. Tedros noticed Nathaniel near one of the trees Agatha was about to pass. "Probably trying to meet up with her," Tedros thought darkly. He stood there for a few long minutes before heading back to the work area to place the rocks down.Then he headed back towards his dorm realizing he  hadn't done much to get close to Agatha.

A  few hours later

He then heard a loud rumble of thunder. It had started to storm and all of the groups were coming in. Beatrix was running in trying to shield herself from the rain with only her two bare hands, and her pocket size nail file. Tedros chuckled, it reminded him of how frantic Sophie would get in the stories Agatha had told him. He then spotted Agatha sharing Nathaniel's jacket with him! They stopped behind a pretty big tree, what were they doing?

Agatha listened to Nathaniel, although he stuttered in the beginning. He seemed like he had something really important to tell her.  "Agatha I don't know how to tell you how I feel, and I know you've been hurt by Tedros. But...........let me prove to you that I'm better than him."He finished his sentence while pulling Agatha into his grasp hugging her tight, and then whispered in her ear "please?" Agatha stood there in his grasp. "I can't give you answer....yet." She looked up at him and they returned each other's smiles. Agatha left him not knowing what to do. Hopefully he'd understand that she wasn't ready to be with anyone. And she didn't even know if she was completely over Tedros. All she knew was that she couldn't turn Nathaniel down when not even knowing how she felt. 

However, Tedros thought different.  Had Nathaniel and Agatha kissed? Agatha had walked away without him with a flustered expression. "Nathaniel you've ruined everything," Tedros thought angrily. He pledged that he would set the record straight for Nathaniel to back off.
