The walls that form around me
Caving me out of this world
Keeping others out
Telling me not to give my heart away
A unbreakable wall
That will break others
Trying to get to me
But failing
Oh I can't love
With my love caged inside of me
Like a ferocious beast
Waiting to get out
A wall that won't let me trust
Have friends
Make love
And try to accept people
Oh how will I survive?
With this wall formed around me?
What will I do?
Trying to break the wall
But it's too strong
Making me form tears
And show my insecurity
This wall
Will tell others
Who I truly am
That I don't belong
No matter how hard I try
No matter how hard others try
No one will break my wall
That keeps me safe
Guarding me with all its power
Oh wall
Please fall
And let my heart be free
