These mistakes that give me guilt
Show how dumb I was
How insecure I feel
These mistakes shape me
Tell me who I am
I don't know what I'd be without them
I was always filled with them
These mistakes
Give me memories
Of my past
That can not be changed
But mistakes that want to be
Made and fed with guilt
We are just humans
And we make mistakes
We shall learn from them
And cry from them
Regret each one
Haunting us behind
Like a shadow that never leaves
Taking us apart
Piece by piece it will hurt
But we will bear through
For we have stood
For millions of years
On this planet
Remembering the guilt
Inside of us like a stone
But we shattered it away
And smiled like nothing
These mistakes
Will always continue
For we are only human
And we can't choose who we are
But make choices of what we do
It may be a slip of a finger
Our the trip of our mind
But these mistakes will always
Yes always follow us
For they show who we are
And these mistakes
Are who I am
And I will always be filled
Fully within them
