I miss how you would hold me
Tell me how beautiful I was
And let me cry into your chest
I miss you the most
The way you kissed me in the rain
Held me beside you
Told me stories of your past
And told me you were mine
I miss you always
You were a friend
A connecter
Someone I couldn't be without
You were the one I miss
I miss you so much
Oh the way we sang together
The way you laughed like this was last
How you ruffled my hair
Told me you wouldn't leave
But what do I miss most?
Everything
Everything about you held me
I loved you
You were the only one
The sunshine
I miss the light in you
How you made me happy
The way you ran with me
The memories of us
I miss your smile
Your teeth flashing with the sun
Telling me to smile along
Oh how I miss everything
How I miss you
Why did you leave?
Why did you run away from me?
But always know,
I will miss you
