I stared at the door."Hello?"
There wasn't an answer.
I reached for the door knob. The person was on the other side. The metal twisted under my grasp. I pulled back on the knob.
The shadow of a person stood there. I went to turn away, but they grabbed me in the arm and pulled me closer. Their red eyes stared into my light blue, casting a purple ray of light onto his skin. The wings of the person terrified me.
He leaned in close to my ear."Don't be afraid. We have you. And that's all we want."
I went to scream. His clawed hand covered my mouth.
"You don't want to wake your friends do you? From their enteral sleep?"
I gasped slightly."You didn't..."
His eyes narrowed down on me."I would."
I strained to look away."Just let me go!"
"You think it's just like that? Oh Diamond. It'll never be that way."
"Yes it will! The rest will come; you'll see! I've prepared months for this stupid moment! Now let he go!"
He chuckled."You have quite the sense of humor."
"It's not funny!"
"It's funny when the queen struggles. Especially when one if the number one rules is 'no harm shall come to the queen. Ironic if you ask me."
"Let go!"
"Never."
The words echoed in my mind as everything went black.
