The Huge Fight

Emerald, since you so direly need to read Nudged, here's a bit of content to go along with your two best friends have a big fight.

I picked up the phone. The call was so sudden. I was on vacation after all.

"Hello?"I asked.

"Get here! Right now! The album is all messed up. Back singers off key, on the wrong times. You need to come back! I can have you fired!"my boss yelled in a raging voice.

"But I-but I-"I stuttered.

"Get here now, or your fired!"he screamed.

I dropped my phone. It hit the hard tile with a clang, sending the whole house shuddering. I pictured how mad the girls would be.

"Back your bags, girls."I sighed."Back to Indi we go."

"What?!"Adam said, appearing through the kitchen door.

"What?!"Laura's head popped up.

Everyone else appeared at the top of the stairs."What?!"the chimed.

"Let me get this straight."Adam said."You're leaving?"

I nodded.

His face dropped."I thought you were here to stay? Why do you have to leave? I don't get it."Suddenly, he flared."You know what? Just get! Get out! We don't need you anymore. And we are over!"

I ran outside, crying uncontrollably. He just did that. He really just ordered me to get out. I thought we were best friends. I thought we were supposed to be together.

I felt an arm around my shoulder."It's okay."Mallory smiled.

"All good things."Jason laughed."All good things."

"Let's go."I said through sobs."Before he goes and kills anyone."
