A long beeping sound came from the Bluetooth. It caught my attention from the stack of papers. The person on the other end took long deep breathes. They seemed to hesitate.
"Yeah...you might wanna get him,"she said shakily."Because it might be time to say goodbye."
I dropped my pen in shock. His brother, Shawn, looked over at me. His eyes filled with sadness.
I ran down the hall. Shawn followed after me, sprinting. Our feet padded down the hall, echoing through the empty building. We passed a young girl. She followed after us slowly.
I burst through the door of A13. The scene washed upon me like a tsunami. Dr. Cola lied her head into her hands and sat down. Shawn's eyes grew huge as if to say,'What has come of me...'
My eyes met with the monitor, a long line across it. There was a silence among the six people in the room. Shawn's head lied onto my shoulder. It soon became wet with tears.
"We were too late..."I said.
Jamison nodded.
I closed my eyes, trying to forget what was happening.'I'm sorry...'
