I wrote this in fifth grade and made an awesome prologue for it.

---

"Mom! Mom! Mom!"

I looked up from the dishes."Yes Rose?"

My daughter jumped up and down, holding the phone."It's for you!"

I took it and placed it against my ear."This is Daisy Quake?"

"Listen, I'm Luna Sim from the newspaper. I'd recently heard of the story that happened when you were sixteen with that girl that you knew...what was her name-"

"Hannah,"I said quickly.

Luna laughed."Yes, uh, I was wondering if you'd like to share that story. You know, so I can put it in the paper?"

I looked down at Rose who was at the table drawing. The city was a long way away. Rose would be by herself most if the day. But I knew I could set her up with the family across the street.

I smiled."Sure. Give me a day. I know where the building is in the city."

---

I walked the long hallway. A woman in a detective's outfit was in front of me, holding a pen and a piece of paper. She opened a door slowly.

There was one lightbulb. It lit up my face, but the the person's. It didn't go very far either; I couldn't see the back of the room.

We sat down at our chairs.

"Now tell me, Daisy. Tell me how the story went."

"Well,"I smiled."it all started on a very stormy night..."

---

So yeah. I still haven't finished the book. I should though.

:/

Anyways, bye.
