The rain poured outside my window. What Chie said, was it true? When you looked into a tv screen at midnight, and it's raining? You'll see your soulmate?
I shook my head but stared ahead. Nanaka was sleeping and so was Domaji. This wouldn't wake them. Only seeing a picture of a person. But at the same time, I knew there was something else to it.
The clock ticked beside me. The small hand turned, and it hit midnight. I looked at the screen intently. Nothing happened. I turned away, but suddenly the tv lite up.
A picture of a girl getting attacked. The image fizzed in and out.
"Nico, how are you?"
The voice continued, saying things that didn't make sense. I grabbed my head and sunk to the floor. I screamed as it ate away at my sanity.
And then it stopped. I looked up at the tv. The Midnight Channel was real? But Chie would've warned me if that was supposed to happen. I walked towards the screen again. I reached out my hand to touch it.
My hand sunk through the screen, and then was grabbed.
I tried to pull away as my whole arm sunk it. Thankfully the screen was small and I couldn't sink in all the way. I forced my arm out. I was thrusted onto the corner of the table. My head hit it with a thud.
Nanaka came rushing it."Nico? Are you okay?"
"I-I'm fine. I'll be alright."
"Okay. I was just worried."
She closed the door behind her. I sighed and walked to me bed. What was that? Who was that? And what was the voice?
The voice was familiar. Welcome to the Velvet Room...
I leaned back onto my pillow. I'd just need to ask Yosukoe and Chie tomorrow...
