It's been an hour and Kelly still hasn't responded to any of my texts.

I sigh as I lean against the counter and stare at my phone.

"Just give it time," Ethan says, kissing my cheek before taking out the last of the trash.

"Yeah, but how much time?" I groan, burrying my face in my forearms.

Ethan closes the backyard door as he comes back inside. "If you're that worried about her, go to Foxy's and talk to her."

"Foxy's?" I ask, trying to remember where I've heard that before.

"Yeah, she's like obsessed with the place." He leans on the counter next to me. "She used to go there all the time in highschool."

I purse my lips as I think.

Ethan nudges my shoulder. "Take my car and go to Foxy's Diner, I guarantee you she's there."

I turn to face him. "You don't want to come?"

He laughs, "And deny you the oppourtunity for a one on one conversation? Not a chance."

"Well what about you two? Words were exchanged-"

"Kelly and I fight all the time..." He says reassuringly. "I'm sure we'll make up eventually."

I roll my eyes at him. "You suck."

"You got this babe." He slaps my butt before leaving the room.

I groan again, staring at my phone screen again.

"Imani get outta here," his voice booms through the house as I imagine he walks to his room.

"I'm going, I'm going." I grumble, grabbing his keys off the counter, and heading to the garage.

I pull into the mostly empty parking lot of the diner and immediately notice Kelly's truck parked in the front.

I smile, to myself and text Ethan.
