Stupidity, that's the first thing to cross the brunettes mind once Archie's viral video came to an end.

Although it was Jugheads first day at Southside High he had taken off at the break of dawn to meet up with his friends at Riverdale High, meaning Ezra was left to walk alone.

Not that he was her responsibility anyway, Toni, her best friend, had already offered to give him the grand tour and given the fact things weren't great between Jughead and his sister, that was probably for the best.

The pair used to be inseparable, almost the same age with just over nine months between them, so they hung out together rather than with the other kids. But when their mother took off for Toledo with their little sister Jellybean, Jughead did too leaving Ezra and their Dad behind to deal with, well, everything. While nowadays he's back on the scene, the Jones girl choosing to hold a grudge.

It felt weird going back to school without her daily morning lecture from her father, despite the fact he'd been locked up for a while now it still made Ezra feel weird, as if she'd left the house and forgot something but couldn't work out what it was.

She could already tell it wasn't going to be her day once she'd arrived at Southside High. She'd somehow forgot her assignments, was late and forgot the lighter in her back pocket which meant she had to go through the metal detector twice.

Yes, the metal detector. In a high school.

To make matters worse she also managed to lose her lunch money, meaning when lunch came around she had two options; steal or starve.

"You got anything to eat?" Jughead asked with a sigh, walking alongside his sister as she headed for my usual table "I left my lunch at home."

"If I had food don't you think I'd be eating it?" Ezra bit back sarcastically, vaguely gesturing towards the table full of Serpents "Maybe one of those might."

Though, her friends seemed more interested in their laptop than her arrival.

"Guess we're not watching funny cat videos?" Jughead speaks, sarcasm and slight curiosity lacing his words as the pair arrived in front of the table.

Fangs, Toni and Sweet Pea were all looking into Sweet Pea's laptop "Check this out" He grins, turning the laptop towards Jughead and Ezra.

It's Archie's ridiculous Red Circle video.

"Some sick in the head Northsider posted a crazy-ass video and, well, we were just talking." Sweet Pea says with a blank un-readable face.

Which is pretty rare seeming as Sweet Pea was as readable as a pre-schoolers book.

"About what?" The Jones' say together trying to mask their concern and ignoring the weird coincidence.

Sweet Pea turns to Fangs and pats him on the back, "Fogarty wants to earn his Serpent stripes," He says with a smirk appearing on his lips yet again "I say bring us the head of that Northsider and you're in."
