Toni and I are sat on Sweet Peas couch,he'd gone to Pops to get us food so Toni came over so I wouldn't die of boredom. She has a wide smile spread across her face.
"Why are you so happy" I smile nudging her with my foot.
"It's gonna sound dumb but,Cheryl told me she loved me" her smile widens,which I didn't know was possible.
"Holy shit Toni,that's not dumb that's a big deal. Did you say it back?"
She nods her head "can I ask you a personal question?"
I laugh "even if I said no you'd ask me anyway. Shoot"
She sits up a bit on the couch "When did you know you loved Sweet Pea,but not just you said I love you to each other. When did you know you were in love with him"
I shrug my shoulders "there wasn't a specific time,or thing that he did. It was just one day I looked at him and realised he was the one that I was in love with,you can't really choose when you fall in love with someone"
She smiles at me and nods her head.
The door opens and Sweet Pea enters with the bag of food in his hand. "Oh hey T,you want some?" He asks shaking the bag.
She gets up off the couch shaking her head "I don't feel like third wheeling,I'm gonna go hang with Cheryl" she says goodbye leaving just me and Sweet Pea.
He drops into the seat where she was and passed me my food "what was up with her?"
I laugh and start eating "can't I hang out with my best friend?"
"In my house?" He raises an eyebrow and I punch him lightly "I was kidding,jeez" he smiles rolling his eyes. We finish our food and I get off the couch and throw the wrappers away.
"You know,there's still two hours left of your birthday" he checks his phone "anything the birthday girl wants to do" he asks pulling me onto his lap.
