Chapter 12

Ezra Jones

"Hey Ez,can you wait for me after school I've practice with the Vixens." Toni asks coming over to my locker.

I nod shutting it "Yeah of course,is it cool if I just wait in the gym"

She shrugs her shoulders "Go for it"

I notice Sweet Pea coming down the hall and I step out in front of him "What's got your panties in a bunch?" I joked

The scowl on his face worsened as he rolled his eyes "Oh fuck off" he says trying to keep walking,but I place my hand on his chest.

"Jordy,what's wrong?" I raise an eyebrow.

"Nothing,just leave me alone" he pushes my hand away.

"Jordan,I'm your girlfriend. Fucking tell me" I say grabbing his arm as he try's to walk away.

"Okay,well not anymore! Now you don't have to worry" he rolls his eyes shrugging.

I'm taken aback "What? Look I know you're annoyed and you aren't really serious but-"

"No Ezra,I'm really fucking serious. Whatever this" he gestures between us "is it's over. Now leave me alone"

He shoves me out of the way and walks down the hall with Fangs.

I shake my head "You know what,fuck you Sweet Pea. I shouldn't have ever gotten back with you" I scream at him as he rounds the corner.

People are staring at me but I don't care. Toni stands with her jaw dropped.

"Cmon,you're gonna be late for practice" I shrug heading towards the gym with her.

Once inside the gym,we're greeted by Cheryl. "Oh hey Ezra! Toni never told me you were trying out" she smiles.

"Oh I'm not trying out,I'm just here to wait for Toni" I shake my head. I was trying with every ounce of strength I had not to cry. At least not in school.

"Of course she isn't,I'd be surprised if someone like her could be a Vixen. You know she is a Serpent" Veronica shrugs.

Okay what the fuck.

"Oh so that's how you feel" Toni asks raising her eyebrows and crossing her arms

"Fuck off Veronica,I'm not here to fight with you. I'm here to wait for Toni" I say rolling my eyes.

"Mhm,thought so" she shrugs turning around.

I bite the inside of my cheek. I look up and see Betty shake her head and mouth the word 'Don't'.

I sigh putting my hand on my hip. "Actually Cheryl,is it still okay if I tryout?"

I wasn't about to let that stuck up daddy's girl tell me I couldn't be a Vixen.

Cheryl beams "Of course,there's always a place for you with my Vixens"

Ever since Carrie,Cheryl and I have become relatively good friends,which neither of us expected to happen.

I nod my head and head towards the middle of the gym. I do a routine that Toni was practicing last night and I think I did it well,if I say so myself.

The Vixens clap and Cheryl hands me a uniform "Welcome to the team,Jones"

Veronica stands there looking annoyed,I give her a sarcastic smile as I walk into the changing rooms.

On my way there I bump into something,more so someone.

"Watch where you're go-oh,it's you" Sweet Pea rolls his eyes.
