That I will see a forest;
Green in all its glory
The beauty of this story
The tall; thriving, trunk towers
Light falling; onto flowersThese trees are so high
I wonder if ever I; can see the sky
But I see only; a sea of green
I know not-; what is happeningEmotionally enveloped
In the environmental energy
The experience is quite sensory-;
But nature had its legacy-;I wish she were with me in this forest
I could grab, her wrist
To comfort me;- from its dark and scary sycamores.The sound of sloshing water against the scraping; sinking, stone.
The hum of the river, a low, yet mellow tone.
I bend down; take a drink
And foolishly I thinkWhat if she were in that forest;
Listening to Chill and Hansen
Singing and dancing;
Walking through the night
In the countryside moonlight
Earbuds in our ears
Free from all our fears
The gentle breeze through our hair
A story, I wish that we could shareI see the sycamore,
Open up the kitchen door
And there is the forest
Green in all its glory
But that my friends; is not the beauty of this story,
