WORDS OF THE LIVING(STOP SIGN)
A stop sign on a road
Near town
The car slowed
Right downThe rusted metal
Still shone in the streetlight
Of that peaceful night
And I put my feet down on the pedalThe stop sign looked so lonely
Telling people to stay
But to no dismay
They drove off
And the stop sign was the only, one
Standing under moon and sun
It remained the only oneThe sign sat there, doing well
Years gone by
Under one day it fell
And the stop sign said
goodbye
