WORDS OF THE LIVINGI need you to catch me
Break my fall
Run across the forest ferns
Before my attacker returnsI fade from Zeus's grasp
Cutting through the wind
My hair a long stretched tail
Clouds, witness to this taleI am falling from the sky
As the minuscule metropolis grows nigh
I need you to grab me as i fall
Deep into summer's fallThe autumn leaves are falling with me
Birds are following me
In search of islands warmer
A sparrow standing on my shoulderSnow falls onto my face
In desperate need of grace
The icy cold clutches me
Now i can barely see
What is waiting for meI shut my eyes
My arms open
My fists tightly closed
As the inevitable forebodes
Then there are arms around me
I looked around see to
How you could have saved me
