WORDS OF THE LIVING(MOTHER NATURE)
Luscious leaves,
selfishly, steal sunlight
From the forest floor
Mossy cavern
Nature's random pattern
We tell tales of the terrific tree tops
The wooden wanderers never stop
Branches outstretched, offering me their hand
Their bases unmannedA bustling breeze
blows the leaves
Wayward, a slow gentle dance
Keep their observers in a tremendous trance
Sunlight searches for a secret entrance
The shrubs whisper, in silent prayer
To the favourable forest air
The grasses stand alert, to nature's call
Creatures that will walk, fly or crawl
Are under her command
Every forest, beach and headland
Will obeyMother Nature built this place
Out of leaves, branches, trees and grace
Every twig, every leaf
Commander in chiefEvery branch, every insect
Everything simply; perfect
All of it is, ours
Encapsulated in the tree towers
