Inevitable

Chapter 52

 When we arrive at the venue security leads us inside quickly. Korey and my Aunt Kellie are uneasy about the level and amount of security guards are around us. Korey was stiff as a board and my Aunt had her head down not making eye contact with anyone. They lead us to the dressing room where stylists are scurrying around putting powder on the boys' faces. All of 1D and 5sos get ready together. There is John Mayer playing from the stereo and alot of harmonizing going on. Basically it's loud and hectic. We walk in and plop down on the couch. Korey and my Aunt are standing awkwardly next to us, watching everyone run around.  "You guys can sit you know?" Jess clears her throat and pats the cushion next to her.

"Is it always this crazy in here?" Kellie whispers to Jess scooting closer.

"Yeah, it gets a little nuts sometimes."She chuckles watching Zayn get his neck trimmed.

Kellie nods and watches in amazement.

"No, I'm gonna keep this outfit on for the show tonight." I hear Mikey talking to the stylist in the corner.

The stylist agrees and Michael meets my eyes. He smiles and sits back in his chair so they can finish his hair.

Zayn and the boys are now getting into their clothes as we speak.  They sing as they get dressed. Not all of them are singing the same song. All of their ranges and different voices make it sound so angelic. The couch lifts me up and Ashton's arm goes around me.

"How are you girls doing tonight?"

I smile at him "We're pretty good, How's getting ready coming?"

"Not very well, I'm not exactly in the mood to get dressed. As you can tell."

"I can tell actually. Love the lack of clothes by the way." I giggle and hide my eyes.

"5 sauce boys! You're on in 5 minutes!" A man yells from the door.

Ashton groans and throws his head back. "Fiiiinnneeee."

He pushes himself off of the couch and lazily walks to his stylist.

I shake my head and turn back to Jess who's talking to her mom. I sit and listen to their familiar banter enjoying every minute of it.  I miss the closeness to the rest of my family and miss my family in general. My mom and dad have been gone on business more than they have been home. Don't get me wrong I love being able to fend for myself and get a taste of what its like on my own, but there are times when I just want to have all of my family around me again and sit and BS about everything.

I'm pulled out out my thoughts by Mikey standing in front of me. "Babe, we're about to go on. I do believe I need a kiss for good luck." He pulls me to my feet and wraps his arms around my waist.  my arms hang loosely from his neck. He leans in and I do the same, meeting in a sweet kiss. I pull back not wanting to make a scene in front of my family and he kisses my forehead before he runs towards the guys.

When the guys finally get on stage, security tells us we can go watch them from the side.

Zayn is talking to Jess's mom about their engagement and Jess's reaction. Apparently He talked to both Kellie and Korey before he actually popped the question. I think it's really sweet that he asked Korey for permission. Jess pulls my arm leading me to the stage to see them at the side. I love moments like these. I'm so proud of how far they've come. It's ridiculous to think that one right there rocking out on the guitar, is mine. All mine, he will be mine forever if he cant stand me that long. I feel like we're unstoppable. I feel the butterflies erupt through me as they finish their first song.

One Direction has been on stage for about 40 minutes now. The crowd is going absolutely insane, I remember when I was in the crowd. I remember when Zayn told Jess he was glad we could make it. That was the highlight of her night, I thought she was going to pass out. The vibe the boys create radiates through out the arena. It ludicrous to be honest, to have that much control over a teens emotions. The boys are now joking around and talking with the crowd. Zayn tells everyone to quiet down and says he has something to say. Jess and I along with the crowd simmer down and listen to his announcement. I wonder if they're expanding this tour or something.
