Inevitable

Chapter 11

It's been a week since the night at the hotel. We've been hanging out with them almost everyday. Luke and Ashton are still in love with Jess but she will deny such things. She isn't looking for anything serious and both boys know that. But that doesn't stop them obviously. Calum and I are like best friends. He told me that he liked me. But he doesn't want anything serious and neither do I. He's always on tour and everything. I don't want to interfere. We decided to stay on the track as just friends. I'm extremely happy about that!

"That's what makes you beautiful!!" I hear my ring tone all the way from the break room. I turn to Jess wide eyed, My cheeks are on fire.

"You forgot to put your phone on silent again fag!" Jess giggles.

"Shut up! Shutupshutup!!!" I yell running to go turn it off.

I reach my phone to find Calum calling me.

"Hello?!" I snap

"Uh hey Rhenn, is something wrong??"

"You just embarrassed me in front of ALL OF STARBUCKS!"

"Oh shit I'm so sorry!" Sarcasm clear in his voice.

"Shut it Hoodlum. I'll kill your first born."

"Oh chill out!"

"You did it on purpose!"

"What would you do if I did?"

He is egging me on and I know it. He does this frequently to get under my skin.

It never ceases to fail.

"You know what! I'm not going to tell you! You will have to watch your back constantly to see if I will or will not do anything. Karma is a bitch!"

"Alright Rhenn, jeez! Calm down. I really was calling to see if you wanted to go to our concert Friday night. Jess is of course invited to. If she wasn't, Ashton and Luke would have me hanging by my nipples."

"You want us to come to your concert..." I'm stunned. I knew we were friends but I never expected this.

"Yeah, I mean you don't have to go..."

"Oh of course we will!" Finally snapping out of it.

"You will?" I can hear the surprise in his voice.

"Of course. We wouldn't miss it!"

"Alright sweet, we goin to the club tonight?"

Oh damn I forgot about tonight.

"Uh yea-yeah!" I agree. Why not? We don't have work tomorrow. It's Thursday night. The club shouldn't be terribly crowded.

"Sweet, I have a couple people that have been begging to meet you guys."

"Oh really?"

"Yes..."

"Girls or boys?"

"Boys... men. God dammit Rhennie we are men!"

I laugh at him loudly.

"Rhenn get your butt back in here!" I can here Xander yelling at me.

"Alright, alright. We will see you boys tonight!"

"MEN!"

"Whatever!!" I say hanging up

"Rhennie lynn!" Xander yells one more time, only I hear him coming closer.

"Xander James!"

"My love, come help pleaseeee!" he drags out

"I'm coming.." I laugh and smile innocently at him.
