Chapter 13 - The Preparation To The Ball

        “No! Please put it there!” I said to Jack.

       The football team and all my friends were helping me to decorate the gym for the Ball. It was going to take place in two days.

        “But if it's over there, I think it looks weird.” Lilith opined.

        I looked in the angle she was watching. “You are right. Put just a little more to the right. No, a bit more to the left! Now only push a little behind.” He put the table on the place I said. “Perfect! Thank you.” He nodded and went to get more things I brought in the van which was full.

        “Where do you want to put this poster?” Meridith asked me.

        “You know, the entrance, in the middle of the lockers, put it there.” She nodded. “James! Please put the ball right in the middle, is not two inches more to the left!” I scrammed, because he was far away from me.

I went to get some tapes with sparkles and placed near the stage while Niamith was decorating the "table" where the DJ was going to stay. Liam was placing the dishes, of all possible colors, on the table. A few more players, including Jim, were decorating with ribbons and bows and all I had chosen the stage.

        I received a call.

        "Hello Caroline. How are things going around there?"

        "Well, but I'm dying of exhaustion, and I still have much to do..."

        "Would you like me to go over and help you?"

        "No, better not, Liam is here, I know he already saw us together several times, but I want to avoid it... for now."

        "Whatever. I've been thinking, and we have met a few months ago and you haven’t come to my house, and I have not brought you to LA, do you want to go there today? "

        "You're right. Wait what? L.A? Are you kidding? "

        "Of course not. And I'd like to show you the city. "

        "Klaus, of course I would love that."

        "When will they leave?"

        He hung up. I tried to do everything as quickly as possible, but of course with perfection.

        I changed one thing or another.

        I put a few more sparkles here. Some bows there. Some laces and fabrics.

        “Care, it’s seven o'clock, we have to go, if we don’t the coach kills us.” Liam apologized.

        “Go, and this time will not eat many burgers.” I hugged him and gave him a huge kiss.

      “No.” He turned away and ran off with the entire football team, that as they were leaving, they said goodbye. It was just me and my best friends left. “If you want, you can also go, Klaus will help me.”
