I woke up with the typical smell of my room. I looked at the bookcase and counted 55 books, looked to the opposite wall and saw my cotton fairy that my best friends had given me in my birthday... The door was open. I tried to move under the sheets and a ‘sharp’ pain developed between my third and fourth rib on the right side. I remembered the brunch buried itself deep into that place. I felt another pain, but this was from my stupid broken hand.

I looked at the clock on the bedside table and it was 10 in the morning. And it was also December 31.

I got up in pain and locked to the bedroom door. With a huge sigh I took the sweater and I took off the bloody and huge roller bandage. It had a big crust in my ribcage, which was really strange ...

        "Caroline." Said a voice.

"Care." This seemed more brand new, perhaps a child.

"I need your help!" This voice was trembling.

"Yes... You know that I’ll always help, what's wrong?" I asked.

"Save it." The little girl said, who in that moment I observed carefully. She brought a teddy bear close to her chest.

"Save? Who? What?" Asked the lady, who at that time grabbed her hand.

"Save yourself first, but help us to find the way to Paradise. We need it."

        "It? What? Where is it?"

"Underneath the stone that is in the garden." Answered the elder lady.

"I'll try." I didn’t ask for more information, but I remembered that normally the witches speak in riddles.

I putted a new roller bandage and I wore another very warm sweater because I was freezing. Would pick up the phone to connect to Klaus when I heard a car to park in front of my house. About 10 seconds later he knocked on my bedroom door.

“Yes.” He came in and said nothing for a long time, just kissed me in all places of my face and hugged me.

        “Sorry.” He said finally.

        “Why are you apologizing?”

“Because I haven’t protected you as I should.”

“Klaus... it was dangerous, you couldn’t go.”

“And I ended up going there anyway. It was ridiculous.”

“It does not matter. Now everything is fine.”

“No it's not. Caroline, I'm not running away from you, it wouldn’t make any sense, but I love you and I don’t want anything to happen to you.”

“Don't tell me you want me to get a bodyguard?”

“Love, don’t to give me ideas.” He said, seriously.

I kissed his soft lips. “Where is my mother?”

“Went to work, about 10 minutes ago, which was the time that I needed to get here. And how is your hand?”

“It hurts... Can I ask you something?”

        “Sure, anything you want, Love.”

“If your blood could cure me, why didn’t you give it to me?  Frankly I would like to end all these pains.”

“I wanted to because you were really bad, but your mother wouldn’t let me...”
